The following night, Lucius Malfoy knocked on his son's bedroom door aggressively using his staff.
Draco was sitting on his bed in silence, processing the situation with the Dark Lord & Evangeline when he jumps from the sudden loud knocks. He rises to his feet and opens the door to see his father. He clenches his jaw, knowing what this conversation was going to be about.
Lucius pushes his way past Draco, into the room, "How dare you lie to me son?" He shuts the door harshly, "How dare you lie to me in my own house about who that girl was?" He gets into Draco's face, "You lied about her identity in hopes to keep her safe. How can I trust that you'll uphold our family's reputation and do what the Dark Lord wants?"
Draco's heart begins to beat fast, his adrenaline kicking in, "I will."
"Oh will you, now?" Lucius looked his son straight into the eyes, "You better not disappoint me, son. This is a matter between life and death." He's about to leave, he puts his hand on the door knob and turns to look at Draco again, "Don't..you..dare allow your feelings to get in the way of doing what's proper." Lucius then dramatically exits the bedroom, slamming the door behind him.
