When Ethan returned to their hope squad base, he immediately went to repair his own terminal brain.

After fixing his terminal brain and did his paper works, he could finally fulfill his promise. In just a week since they came back, Akira has sent dozens of communications wondering when they will spar. Ethan love being called repeatedly by his wife so he purposely slowed down doing his paper works but today he missed to be by his wife side so he finally agreed to spar with him.

When Ethan arrived at the training room, Akira was already waiting inside showing his muscle forearm wearing a white shirt with no sleeves only. There was a group of officers gathered outside the training room, all of them looking excited and eagerly waiting for their captain's fight.

"Do you want to remove the cover of the training room to let everyone watch?" Ethan said while walking in, after that the door of the training room closed behind him.

"No need."

It was a rare opportunity for him to finally spar with Ethan and he didn't want too many irrelevant people to watch their fight.

Ethan was happy hearing his wife's answer because he doesn't want anyone to see his alone time with his wife and even if the training couldn't be seen they will still still know who was fighting and who won.

"Should we use mecha or close combat?" Ethan asked.

"Close combat first then....." Before Akira could finish his words Ethan said: "I don't have that much time."

Ethan refused mercilessly because his telling the truth he still has a lot of work to do.

"Old man, you rejected me again." Akira looked frustrated then he added: "We have no missions yet, so there's nothing to be busy with."

"If you didn't hate paper work so much then I should have a lot of free time to spend." Ethan said in a cold tone but he was happy to do all his wife's work not like in the previous world.

Hearing this, Akira didn't dare to say anything more. He was indeed too lazy to do paperwork so all his work was given to Ethan but he had no other choice, all his paperwork involved a lot of confidential matters and he didn't trust anyone except Ethan.

"Then let's fight in close combat." Akira said with a sweet smile.

Ethan nodded, remove his military jacket and put it aside, rolled up his sleeves to his elbows. Akira stretch his muscles and then attacked forward without any hesitation.

The fighting was intense in the training room, and mix emotions were running outside.

"Wow, there is actually someone who can be on par with our captain for so long their score now is a tie!"

"I really didn't expect that lieutenant colonel Ethan, who's good at paperwork is also good at fighting."

"Maybe our commander did not give his best..."

"You are right, lieutenant colonel Ethan is good at doing logistics work so if he is beaten no one in the hope squad can handle much paperwork."

Then everyone laughed full of mockery towards Ethan.

The two people in the training room could not hear the discussions outside. Ethan and Akira knew each other very well no matter whose body they're in.

The training room is full of tension. Inside the dimly lit training room, Ethan and Akira exchange precise blows. Sweat fell on their brows. The room echoes with the sharp sounds of their sparring.

Akira's foot meets Ethan's block with a forceful clap and because it missed Akira accidentally kicked the remote control of the training room which removed the one blocking the view of the training room outside.
