It had been two weeks since Ratchet had seen Sideswide, Sunstreaker, and myself. Two weeks of Sunny not talking and avoiding me at all costs. I didn't understand it at all. He seemed okay, and then when I apparently spoke to him and his brother in their heads he lost it.
That was a whole other story. Ratchet had theories, but that was all. He has no previous information on anything like this happening, and it was getting very frustrating. He thinks that because I 'mated' with both Sunny and Sides, that the bond was trying to strengthen, like a normal cybertronian bond would. Though I'm not that, so I'll apparently never feel it to the extent that they do, or hear them either.
I sighed as I shut off the water to my hot shower and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around my body and then another one for my hair.
As I stepped out of my bathroom I went over to my large window and looked down, letting another sigh out as I only saw Rons truck parked in the front. That was another thing that was bugging me.
Sideswipe was constantly by his brothers side, trying to get him back to how he was or at least trying to get him to stop ignoring me. I had barely seen him in the two weeks. Twice in person and a text or two every other day if that, but other then that it was silence. And it was slowly tearing me apart. I had no idea what to do, no idea what I had done to deserve this. Having the two constantly beside me and then they just up and disappear, it just didn't sit right with me. And the only person that knew that was Ron.
He had been a great friend these past couple weeks, never leaving my side and letting me vent to him when I needed to. Which was pretty much every day. But he sat and listened and gave his advise when he could, and I greatly appreciated him for that.
I walked away from the window and dropped the towel, going to my dresser and grabbing a pair of black ripped Levi shorts and a black cropped t-shirt, my black lace set on underneath. Once I was dressed I took the towel off my head and picked up the other one on the floor before hanging them up and grabbing my brush. Running it through my hair I then put some product in it to help with the frizz and let my natural beach waves take shape.
My phone ringing had me running for it on the dresser, but the smile on my face slowly faded once I saw that it wasn't Sides or Sunny, but Kayce. I answered it quickly.
"Hey Kayce, what's up?" I asked opening my bedroom door and making my way down the stairs.
"Hey Lara, I was wondering if you wanted to come down to the ranch. Actually John wanted to know if you wanted to come down to the ranch." Kayce said calmly.
I furrowed my eyebrows as I rounded the corner at the bottom and made my way into the kitchen.
"Uh I mean I guess so, but why didn't he call me himself? He has my number." I asked playfully while walking into the kitchen.
"I know. I told him the exact same thing. He says he wants to ask you in person, not over the phone." He answered back, a door shutting on his end.
I spotted Ron standing by the coffee pot pouring some into a mug before he turned and handed it to me with a smile on his face. I smiled up at him before leaning up and placing a small kiss on his cheek as a thank you. His face turned a shade of red, just like it had for the past week that I had been doing it. I let out a laugh as usual.
That started when I went to pour myself a cup of coffee one morning, but he insisted on doing it himself even though I already had the mug in my hand. He had tried to grab it from me but I held it back, and the big oaf that he was didn't realize that he was leaning over me and into my personal space that when I turned my head to tell him I got it, my lips grazed the side of his face and he froze. I found it absolutely hilarious and have been doing it since.
