Chapter Seven: Big Surprise

*Maya's P.O.V*

After we all got done having fun doing a splash fight for a good 5 minutes we all stopped when we felt tired and hungry. When we stopped we all got out of the pool and dried off before we went inside to get changed out of our wet clothes and into some nice comfy and warm clothes.

After I sent Lizzie and Zack to their rooms to get changed I lead Chris to my room (Picture above is what her room looks like) so we could get changed too. When we got to my room I let Chris sit down on my bed while I went into my closet to grab some of my dad's old clothes for Chris to wear since I knew they would fit him. And I soon found a comfy red Red Sox's hoodie, white v-neck t-shirt, and comfy grey sweatpants for Chris to wear. As soon as I found them I walked out of my closet and into my room and gave them to Chris.

"Here you go" I said as I handed him the clothes.

Chris smiled and gladly took the clothes and nodded his head.

"Thanks."

"Welcome" I said before pointing to the bathroom "And you can get changed in the bathroom if you want."

Chris just smiled at me before nodding his head and heading over to my bathroom to get changed leaving me to get changed too.

*Chris' P.O.V*

After I got into Maya's bathroom I locked the door before I started to get changed out of my wet clothes. First I took off my jacket before putting on the red Red Sox's hoodie and white v-neck t-shirt that Maya gave to me. Then after I took off my jeans I pulled on the grey sweatpants that felt really comfy.

When I got done getting changed on into the clothes I looked at myself in the mirror and tired to fix or more like tame my wild hair thanks to the pool. But after a few minutes it was no use. So I just gave up and was about to head out of the bathroom when something in the trash can caught my eye. I walked toward the trash can and looked inside of it and felt my stomach drop when I did. Because when I looked inside of the trash I saw a positive pregnancy test and since I was in Maya's bathroom and no one besides her uses it I immediately knew that it was her's and couldn't believe that it was.

I just sat there on the bathroom floor frozen in shock and trying my head around Maya being pregnant until I snapped out of it when I hear Maya knock on the door and ask-

"Everything okay in there Chris?"

Making me jump a little bit. But I quickly pulled myself together before getting up of the ground and opening the door to come face to face with a concerned looking Maya. 

"Y-y-yeah I'm fine just uh...." I rambled on like a freakin idiot. 

pull yourself together Chris.

"Just...what Chris? what is it" she asked with a faint smile. 

"Just...uh...Maya are you....are you pregnant Maya? I asked in a nervous and shaky tone. 

As soon as I asked that I knew my prediction of Maya being pregnant was true because her smile quickly faded and she started to look at me sheepishly.

"W-why would you ask that Chris?" Maya asked sounding really nervous. 

"Because, and not to be snooping around your stuff but I just found a pregnancy test in your trash can and it was positive" Maya's eyes widened at that and I could hear her breathing heaving "And seeing as you're the only one who uses your bathroom is has to be yours" I stated "So Maya are you pregnant?" I questioned. 

Maya just looked at me with a blank face for a minute and probably thinking of what to say to me before she nodded her head meaning that she is pregnant. I felt my stomach drop again after that and couldn't believe that it was true that Maya was pregnant. But I quickly brushed that asked when I saw Maya starting to break down crying. When I saw Maya starting to cry I quickly walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. And as soon as I did Maya quickly wrapped her arms around me and buried her face deep into my chest and just cried into it. As Maya was crying I gently stroked her hair and rubbed my hand up and down her back to try and calm her down.
