Chapter Three: Fixing Broken Hearts Part one

*MAYA'S P.O.V*

As I started to walk up the drive way of Lisa's house I started to get a little nervous. But it was a good nervous. I was just nervous to see Chris and his family for the first time in a year.

So when I got up to the porch of Lisa's house I took a deep breath before bringing my shaky hand to the door and knocking it about twice. I only hand to wait a few minutes before the door whipped open and I smiled nice and big when I saw Lisa.

"Yes how may I h....Maya!?" Lisa asked with a cheerful smile.

"Hi" I said while giving her a sheepish smile and waving hi.

"Oh my gosh what are you doing here I thought you were in Miami" Lisa questioned as she pulled me into a hug.

"I was until I decided to move back after something happened down there- that I don't want to talk about right now- happened" I explained while hugging her back.

Lisa pulled away and gave me a concerned smile before placing a hand on my.

"You don't have to tell me honey I already know thanks to your mother" Lisa admitted as she rubbed her thumb up and down my cheek.

I was shocked at first when Lisa said that but faintly smiled when I remembered how much of a blabber mouth my mom can be.

"Well you know how much of a blabber mouth my mom can be sometimes?"

"Yes, yes I do."

Both of us laughed at that before Lisa stopped and smirked and raised a eyebrow making me know that she realized why I was here.

"You're here I see my heartbroken son aren't you?" She questioned but I think I knew she knew the answer.

I let out a friendly sigh before dropping my head and raising my arms like I was being caught by the police.

"Guilty as charged."

Lisa chuckled at that making us both smile at each other.

"Well I'm glad you're here to visit him because I think he needs a good friend like you know more than ever" Lisa said as she let me into her house.

"It's that bad?" I questioned in shock.

"Oh honey you have no idea, Chris loved her so much that when he found out she was cheating on him it looked like half of him was ripped away and thrown away" Lisa said making me hate the girl who broke his heart even more then I did before.

I gripped my hands into fist in anger and wanted to punch something when Lisa said that. But then I realized that I was in front of a person who doesn't like violence that much. So I quickly calmed down my anger before giving Lisa a faint smile.

"Well if it's that bad then I guess I should go fix it then shouldn't I" I questioned with a light smirk.

Lisa lightly chuckled at that before gesturing to the stairs.

"Be my guest sweetheart."

I smiled and nodded at that before walking toward the stairs and ventchuring up them.

When I got upstairs I was just about to go to Chris' room when I heard a door open making me whip around and landing my sights on Chris' younger brother and my second best friend Scott.

As soon as Scott saw me his eyes light up and widened in excitement. Scott was almost about to scream my name in excitment but thankfully I got over to him quickly and covered his mouth with my hand before he could do so.

"Shh, I want to surprise your brother so shhh" I whispeared with my finger on my lips.

Scott nodded at that and I smiled at that before removing my hand from his mouth and being engulfed in yet another tight hug. Chris' family and their hugs, I thought to myself making me smile.
