Chapter Sixty Eight: Finally Happening!

Today's the day!! Today. Is. The. Freakin. Day!

I'm getting married to the love of my life today! And I couldn't be more excited yet nervous about this.

I'm nervous because I'm afraid something wrong will happen that will ruin mine and Chris' wedding. But I know that I'm probably just overreacting or being paranoid about that and shouldn't be thinking like this. I should just stay calm and remain happy about today.

But what if something does go wrong?!

Stop it Maya!!!

"So is my little Maya ready to become a married women today?" My mom asked as she did my hair for today and smiled at me through the mirror we're in front of.

"Yeah" I said with a little nervous but excited breath as I looked up into the mirror and smiled back at my mom.

"Are you nervous?" Mom asked with a smile as she placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.

I looked up and smiled at Mom again as I nodded my head and let out a little nervous breath. "A little."

Mom let out a little chuckle as she gave my shoulder a little squeeze. "Don't worry....It's perfectly normal for the bride to be nervous on her wedding day."

"Agreed" My sisters, Carly and even Lisa all said in unison as they got my dress ready for me to put on.

Mom and I both chuckled at that as I looked up and smiled at her again.

"Were you nervous on your wedding day, Mom?" I asked.

"Very....In fact I was so nervous I almost called off mine and your father's wedding" Mom said with a bit of a sheepish look.

"What?!!" My sisters and I shouted a bit as we looked at Mom in a ton of shock.

"Relax you three spazzes and let me explain why" Mom said as she held her hands up in defense making me and my sisters calm down a bit.

Mom faintly smiled at us as she cleared her throat a bit.

"Now the reason why I almost called off the wedding is because I thought once me and your father were married our love for each other would slowly disappear and we wouldn't be happy with each other anymore. And I didn't want that to happen. So I went and told your father what I wanted to do and why I wanted to do it" Mom explained.

"You did?" Madison, Katie and I asked in unison.

"Yes, but as soon as I told your father what I wanted to do and everything I was afraid of, he just smiled at me as he took hold of my hands and made me sit down with him before he said, 'Hayley, I know you're beyond terrified about getting married, trust me I am too, because you think everything might change between us once we are married. But I assure you that I will never let that happen or stop loving you either because you are the love of my life and I can't imagine my life with any women but you. So I promise you that I won't let anything change between us and I'll be by your side no matter what.'" Mom said probably and more like definitely quoting my father, because he was a very romantic guy who adored romance.

"Aww" Both my sisters and I said in unison as we smiled nice and big at our mom making both her and Lisa chuckle a bit.

"So thanks to your father telling me that, he calmed me down and stopped me from possibly making the worst decision I could have ever made in my life. And I never stop thanking him for that because our wedding day was the happiest moment of my life and so was every day after it thanks your girl's father showing me just how much he loved me every day and chance he got while we were married. So you're father was really the best man I could ever ask for to be with in my whole life. And I hope all three of you girls are and will experience the same love and compassion I felt with your father in your marriages" Mom sid as she smiled at my sisters and me and gave my shoulders a little squeeze too before she let out a little gasp and covered her mouth with her hands as tears formed in her eyes.

"Mom, what's wrong?" Madison asked in concern as she and Katie walked over to Mom and I.

"Nothing really, I just realized that after today....all my little girls are going to be married women" Mom said as she gave me, Madison and Katie a proud smile.

Madison, Katie and I all smiled at mom before we all gave her a big hug. Mom smiled at all of us for that as she hugged us back before kissing all three of us on our foreheads.

"I love all three of you girls so much and am so proud of the three of you too" Mom said with more tears in her eyes as she pulled out of our families hug a little before looking over and smiling at me again. "Especially you Maya, you went through so much this past year, but were able to get through it and are finally and truly happy now thanks to your loving fiance and adorable son. And I hope Chris continues to keep you happy or else I'm going to have a serious talk with him one day."

My sisters, Lisa, Carly and I all laughed at that as mom smiled at us before she let out a deep breath as clapped her hands together.

"Alright, let's get you ready and down to the altar so you can finally get married" Mom said with a bit of an excited squeal as she cupped my face in her hands and smiled at me again before giving me another hug again as well. Madison, Katie, Carly, Shana and Lisa all squealed in excitement with big smiles on their face as they got my dress ready again. I couldn't help but chuckle at that as I hugged mom back before her and I walked over to everyone and started to get ready with all of their help.

*Chris' P.O.V*

    I can't believe it. The day I've been waiting for all my life is finally happening!! And I couldn't be anymore excited about it then I am right now!

    I'm marrying the love of my life today and I'm so happy and thankful that it's Maya because I love her so much with all of my heart and I can't imagine marrying and spending the rest of my life with any other women but her.

    I seriously can't wait to get the ceremony started and just begin my life with Maya as her husband and her as my wife in general. But before Maya and I say our vows to each other I have a little surprise to give her that I think will leave her speechless but very ecstatic as the same time. You're just going to have to wait and see what it is, though.

"You ready to become a married man, big bro?" Scott asked with a big smile on his face as she walked over to me with Ben in his arms. Who's dressed in his little suit with a big smile on his face too as he's playing with one of his toys he has.

I smiled at that as I fixed my suit a little before I turned around to face Scott and Ben and smiled at them.

"I've been ready since the very first day I meet Maya" I said with a big smile as I took Ben from Scott when he started to grab for me and gave his head a little kiss.

"Well I'm excited and happy for you man. You finally found the right girl to settle down with and start a family with. Even though you guys did technically start a family already. Didn't they Ben?" Scott asked in a baby voice as he playfully pinched Ben's face.

Ben giggled at that with a big smile as he took hold of Scott's hand and started to play with it. Scott and I smiled at that as I kissed Ben on his forehead again.

"But I'm glad that the women you're settling down with is Maya. You two make each other very happy and were made for one another too" Scott said as he smiled at me again.

"Thanks Scott" I said as I smiled back at Scott before I gave him a hug.

"You're welcome big bro" Scott said with a smile in his voice as he hugged me back.

"Groom! Best Man!" Robert shouted as he came strutting into my dressing room dressed in his groomsmen suit with a big smile on his face. "You ready you ready to get this show on the road?"

I smiled at Robert as I let out a heavy but excited breath. "Ready as I'll ever be, Robert."

"Then let's get over to the altar so you and Maya can finally become Mr & Mrs Evans" Robert said with an excited smile as he clapped his hands together.

I felt my heart skip a beat, in a very pleasant way, when Robert said 'Mr & Mrs Evans,' as I followed everyone out of the room and over to the altar before a big grin formed on my lips after I realized that I'm really about to become married man any minute now!

It's finally happening!!!
