Chapter nineteen: Double baby shower

*Maya's P.O.V*

I am now 7 and 1/2 months pregnant and Katie is about 6 and 1/2 months pregnant so we are only about a months difference in our pregnancy. But let me tell that having your little sister pregnant as the same time as you is pretty cool. And I mean it. It's seriously pretty cool and fun to have someone going through the same experience as you at the same time. And thanks to that when John and Chris aren't around to help us we can help each other get through our crazy and weird moodswings. And trust me when I saw our moodswings are crazy and weird I mean it and also crazy sometimes too.

"Maya are you almost ready?" Katie asked as she smoothed out her dress and snapping me out of thought.

I chuckled and smiled at that before putting on my necklace that went perfect with my outfit (Outfit above) and fixing my hair a little so it looked okay for today. Because today just so happens to be mine and Katie's baby showers. Yayyy!!

We decided to have a double baby shower because we both loved the idea and thought that it was very cute.

So as soon as I was done doing what I needed to do I turned around and and smiled at Katie before presenting myself to her.

"I am now" I stated with a light smirk.

Katie chuckled that before smiling at me.

"Good." Katie gestured to my bedroom door and smiled again. "Now let's get downstairs before mom starts the baby shower without us."

I chuckled at that before I started to walk over to Katie.

"Yeah let's do that" I said with a light smirk.

Katie and I both laughed at that before we walked out of my room and started to walk down the stairs.

"So are we going to find out what you and John are having today miss Katie?" I asked as we walked down the stairs.

About 2 months ago Katie and John found out what they are having. But haven't told us yet. And I really hope they tell us today because I want to get the perfect gift for my new little niece or nephew.

Katie smiled at me. "Indeed you are M."

"Yayy!!"

"But you'll have to wait until the end of the shower."

"Booo!!."

Katie chuckled at that be we turned our attention to the bottom of thr stairs when we saw a flash go off and soon saw our mom and standing at the bottom of the stairs with their cameras in hand.

"Smile you two" Madsion said with a big smile as she held her camera up.

Me ans Katie both smiled at each other before wrapping one of our arms around one another and smiling at our mom and Madison. Our Mom and Madison looked quickly took a few pictures of us and they both smiled when they looked at the pictures.

"Any good?" Katie and I both asked is unison making us both laugh.

"They're perfect, and be prepared to take a lot of these today you two" my mom said as she held up her camera.

Me and Katie both laughed at that before walking down the rest of the stairs.

"And prepared for alot of these too M" A familiar voice said before kissing my cheek.

I turned around and felt my eyes widen when I saw that it was Chris and soon engulfed him inna big hug.

Chris has been in LA for the past 3 months shooting his new movie 'playing it cool' and I didn't get to see him amlot thanks to that. But we did skpe, call, and text each other but I missed seeing him and being in his arms everyday. So I'm glad he's back.

"When did you get back?" I asked as I pulled away with a big smile.

"Late last night" he stated with a big smile "and it looks like I arrived back just in time to attend yours and Katies double baby shower" Chris said as he looked around the decorated house with a big smile.

I smiled and chuckled at that before taking hold of his shirt and pulling him closer to me making him smile. "You most certainly did" I said before kissing hin on the lips making him smile.

Chris wrapped his arms around me and pulled me as close as he could-which wasn't that close thanks to my large stomach- before kissing me back.

"Uh, may I remind you two that there are children here and that Maya is already pregnant" Scott said as he held my niece Bella in his arms and making us pull away.

"Shut up Scott" I said as I scowled at him.

Scott just stuck his tongue out at me and I couldn't help but a laugh and smile at that before turning back to Chris and smiling at him. Chris smiled back at me before pulling away from me a little and looking my stomach in amazement.

"Man, you're stomach has gotten big" Chris said as he placed both of his hands on my stomach.

"I know, it looks like I'm giving birth to twins." Chris looked at me in shock making me look at him sternly before pointing a finger at him. "Which I am not having so don't get any ideas mr" I said sternly.

Chris chuckled at that before kissing my forehead. "I wasn't, but you do you look beautiful." I smiled and blushed at that before nodding.

"Thank you very much."

"You're very welcome." Chris looked over at Katie and smiled at her. "And so do you Katie."

Katie smiled at Chris before nodding. "Thanks Chris."

"You're welcome K."

I smiled at that before resting my head on Chris' and smiling bigger when Chris kissed the top of my head. But as soon as soon as I rested my head on to Chris' shoulder we all turned our heads when we heard my mom clap her hands and say-

"Okay who's ready to start this double baby shower?"

Making us all smile. Me and Katie both smiled at each other and smiled before smiling nice and big at our mom and raising our hands up.

"We are" we both said in unison making everyone smile and chuckle at us.

"Then let's get it started then."
