Chapter Twenty: Pictures and baby gifts

*Chris' P.O.V*

I was in the middle of watching Maya and Katie talking and greeting guest to their baby shower when my mom came up to me and placed a hand on my shoulder making me look at her. My mom smiled at me before looking back at Maya.

"You going to show Maya the surprise you have for her today?" My mom asked.

Let's just say I have a big surprise and question to ask Maya today and I'm very excited and a little nervous about it too.

I smiled at my mom before nodding. "Yeah I think I might."

My mom smiled at me before patting my shoulder. "Good cause she deserves it and I'm glad you're doing that for her and I'm very proud of you for being the man that me and your father hopped you would be." I smiled at my mom. "And I'm very glad that you and Maya are together and you're helping her get through this because you two are meant to be together and I can already tell that Ben is going to be one lucky boy to have you in his life" my mom explained.

I smiled at my mom before hugging her. "Thanks mom."

"You're very welcome" my mom said before pulling away and gesturing to Maya. "Now get over there so I can take a picture of you and her."

"Haven't you taken enough pictures already mom?" I questioned as my mom pushed me towards Maya.

"Yes, but you can never take enough pictures" she stated as she held up her camera. I chuckled at that before smiling at her. My mom returned the smile before pointing towards Maya. "Now get your butt over there mr."

I chuckled at that before saluting her. "Yes ma'am."

My mom and I both laughed at that before we walked over to Maya so my mom could take a picture of us.

When we got over to Maya I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her cheek making her jump a bit. Maya turned around and smiled at me before kissing my cheek too.

"What's this for?" Maya asked.

"My mom wants to take a picture of us" I stated with a big smile as I gestured to my mom who was standing in front of us with her at the ready.

"Haven't you taken enough pictures alreay Lisa?" Maya asked with a light smirk.

"Yes, but like I said to Chris, you can never have enough pictures" my mom stated as she held her camera up making us both laugh a bit. "Now smile you too."

Me and Maya smiled at each othet before getting in a good postion and smiling for my mom. My mom snapped a few pictures before looking at them and smiling at them too.

"Perfect, thank you two" my mom said with a big smile.

"Welcome" we both said in unison.

Me and Maya both chuckled at that before we looked at each other and smiled at each other before I leaned down and kissed her lips making her smile nice and big before kissing me back.

"Okay everyone time for Maya and Katie to open their presents" Maya's mom announced making us stop kissing and pull away from each other.

Maya smiled at me before she began to drag me over to her's and Katie's baby gifts. I chuckled at that before letting her continue to drag me over to her's and Katie's baby gifts.

When we got over to the gifts Maya and Katie sat down on the chairs set up near their gifts before they started to open them.

The first gifts Maya and Katie opened were from my mom and sisters and they were homemade baby blankets. Maya's baby blanket was the colors of yellow and blue and it had Ben's name stitched at the bottom of it and it looked very soft and comfy. Katies baby blanket was the colors of light blue and white and it had a little teddy bear sewn at the bottom of it.

Both Maya and Katie smiled in excitment before at their blankets before looking at my mom and smiling at her.

"Thank you Lisa, Carly and Shana they both said in unison

"Your very welcome you two" my mom said with a big smile.

Maya and Katie smiled at my mom before continuing to open their presents.

A/N) Sorry for the short chapter guys, but just to give you guys a heads up the next few chapters will short and not as longs as they use to.
