Chapter Twenty Five: Ben

*Maya's P.O.V*

Let me just tell you guys that being in labor is not fun! Not fun at all! The pain is so unbearable that it feels like you've been either shot multiple times or ran over by a car...twice. And I think I may or may not have lost my voice from all the screaming I did thanks to the pain.

But, however, it was all worth it when I eventually and finally gave birth to my Ben, who is currently fast asleep in my arms as I am softly rubbing my thumb up and down his cute little cheek.

Ben as a full head of light brown hair, grayish blue eyes (or that's what they looked like when they were open for a little bit.) A cute little round nose that looked like mine but also Par....

No, no don't you dare think about him Maya. Especially not now, not when you have a new born in your arms who is very cute.

I smiled at him before leaning down an kissing Ben's little forehead making him stir a little but not waking him up. Thank god because he needs his sleep and so do I considering what I've just been through. And just the thought of sleep made me yawn and rub my eyes lids as they grew heavier and heavier the more I thought about sleep.

"Looks like someone's getting tired" Chris said with a little chuckle in his voice.

I looked over at Chris and smiled at him. "You took the words right out of my mouth Evans" I stated with a light smirk.

Chris chuckled at that before leaning towards me and smiling.

"Then get some rest and i'll watch this little guy for you" Chris said as he looked down at Ben and smiled at him.

"You sure?"

"Yeah I won't mind watching this little guy for a bit."

I smiled at Chris before carefully handing Ben over to him. Chris gladly and carefully took Ben from me and situated him in his arms so he would be comfortable before sitting back in his chair

"Hey there little guy, you comfy?" Chris asked as he rubbed his finger up and down Ben's cheek.

I smiled at that before resting into my pilliow a little and closing my eyes and letting sleep soon consume me.

Maya's son was sleeping comfortably in my arms and Maya was sleeping comfortably in our bed and I couldn't help but smile at the both of them. Especially Ben since he is one cute little boy.

And as I continued to hold and look at Ben I couldn't help but feel proud for Maya for being able to do this, and I can tell that she is going to be a great mom to Ben.

"Chris?" I heard Maya's mom whispear.

"Yeah." I turned around and looked at her.

She smiled at me when she saw Ben in my arms before stepping into the room.

"The paramedics are here to check out Ben and Maya" Hayley explained as she walked over to me.

"Okay....I'll go and take Ben down to them" I said as I got up while being careful not to wake Ben up.

Hayley smiled at me before nodding. "Okay....and I'll stay with Maya while the paramedics are making sure she's okay and health."

I smiled at her before nodding and starting to make my way downstairs so the paramedics could check out Ben.

"Okay it looks like he's fine and is going to be one health boy" the paramedic said as he got done checking up on Ben.
