Chapter One: Coming Home Part One

*Maya's P.O.V*

As I stepped off the plane and into the busy airport I felt a wave of relief sweep over me when I realized that everything that happened with to my boyfriend can all be left behind me and forgotten about. I faintly smiled at that before I turned my attention to my right after I heard someone whistle at me and yell my name. And as soon as I did I saw my mother Hayley, my very pregnant older sister Madison, my brother in law and Madison's husband Conner, my younger sister Katie and my older sisters kids Lizzie who's 10 and Zack who's 6 all smiling at me as they held 'Welcome Home Maya' signs up.

I smiled at my family and the signs before jogging over to them and engulfing them all in a big family group hug.

My whole family smiled at me after they pulled away from our hug before I was engulfed in another big hug by my mother. Mom hugged so tight that it felt like I was going to pass out thanks to how strong her hug was.

But luckily she let go. And when she did mom sheepishly smiled at me when she saw how red my face was thanks to her death grip of a hug. Mom cupped my face in her hands and I smiled at her as I looked up into her loving and caring eyes.

"I've missed you so much sweetheart don't ever leave us for a long time like that ever again understood" mom said trying to be serious but the smile she had was not helping her at all.

I chuckled at little at her smile before nodding and hugging her again.

"I promise I will never leave you guys like that ever again" I said with a little bit of tears forming in my eyes.

I quickly wipped the tears away after I was done hugging mom so no one could see them before turning my attention to my little sister Katie who I've been there for since she was born and after our dad passed away.

We both smiled at each other before I walked over to her with open arms and we both hugged each other nice an tight.

"How's my little sis been" I asked as we pulled away from hugging each other.

"Great now that my big sis is back home" Katie said with a nice sisterly smile.

"Aww, thanks I've missed you too little sis" I said returning the sisterly smile back at her.

"And now that you're back you can finally meet my boyfriend....John" Katie said

"Oh right the British dream boy you never stop talking about" I said in a mocking tone.

"Hey watch it!" Katie warned

I snickered at that. "I was only playing" I stated "and I'm very happy for you because from what you've told me about him he sounds like a great guy."

"He is and thanks for saying that it means a lot to me."

"No problem."

Both me and Katie smiled at each other one last time before I turned my attention to my very, very pregnant older sister Madison who seriously looks like she can pop at any minute.

"I know it looks like i swallowed a freakin pumpkin" Madsion said with open arms as I walked over to her.

I chuckled at that before I hugged her.

"No you look beautiful but you seriously look like you're about to pop" I stated as I put a hand on her big belly.

"I know I can like seriously go into labor any day or minute now" Madison said with a little exaggeration in it but she was still very serious at the fact.

"Woow"

"Yeah...but besides that welcome home little sis."

I chuckled at that before hugging my sister.

"Thanks Maddie" I said calling her by her nickname.

"You're very welcome M" Madison said calling me by my nickname too.

I pulled away and smiled at my older sis before turning my attention to her husband and my brother in law Conner. Both me and Conner smiled nice and big at each other before Conner pulled me into a big bear hug.

Conner is seriously like the brother me and Katie wished and never had. He's just so carrying and loving towards Madison, Katie, me, our mom and his two almost three children. And when Madison and Conner first started dating I knew they were meant to be and their kids are great proff of that.

"How's my May been" Conner asked as he continued to hug me.

"Uh lately not so good but now that I'm back home I'm starting to feel much, much better" I stated as I pulled away from the hug.

Conner faintly smiled at that before placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't worry that's over and done with, now you can put it behind you and start fresh thanks to us, okay?"

I smiled and nodded in agreement at that. "Okay."

Conner smiled at me again before hugging me one last time before my attentions were drawn to my niece and nephew when they started to tug at my arms to get my attention.

I chuckled at that before looking down at my 10 year old niece Lizzie and my 6 year old nephew Zack and smiled at them.

"And how have my favorite dance buddy (Lizzie) and favorite basketball buddy (Zack) been doing" I asked recieving a little giggle from both of them.

"Good" they both said at the same time causing me to chuckle again.

"Good now give me a big hug you dorks" I said with open arms.

Both Lizzie and Zack smiled at that before lunging forward toward me and giving me a big hug. They almost made me fall flat onto my back when they did that. But luckily I caught myself before hugging Lizzie and Zack back.

All three of us hugged for a good amount of time before me, Lizzie and Zack pulled away when we heard my mother clap her hands and say-

"Okay who's ready to get Maya home so we can celebrate her coming back home"

Causing Lizzie and Zack to yell in excitment causing all of us to laugh.

"I'll take that as a yes then."
