*Maya's P.O.V*
The very first thing I felt as I started to wake up was pain. Pain was shooting through out my whole entire body. But the place the pain felt the worst at were my stomach, right shoulder and my cheekbone. And that's probably thanks to me getting shot in two of those three place and then getting punched really hard in the other, and I have Parker to thank for all that.
God I really hate him so much so much for doing all that to me!
I let out a little groan of pain as I started to open my eyes. But as soon as I opened my eyes I immediately closed them again thanks to the bright lights that are shinning in where ever the hell I am now. Which I hope is still not in the creepy room that was in the abandoned warehouse Parker brought me too after he knocked me out and right before he punched and shot me.
After I waited a few minutes I opened my eyes again, after they stopped being irritated by the lights, and this time my eyes didn't hurt thanks to the bright lights. When I opened my eyes I started to look around to see where I am now and soon felt very relieved when I saw that I was in a hospital room hooked up to oxygen, IV and pain killers and that I was no longer in the abandoned warehouse handcuffed to a pipe.
I smiled a little bit at that fact before I looked over to my right when I heard someone let out a soft snore. And as soon as I did I smiled when I saw that Chris is sitting next to me as he was sleeping softly with his head bent down a little and as he held on tightly to my hand as well.
I smiled at that before I closed my eyes, clenched my jaw and groaned in pain as a huge wave of it suddenly washed over me. And as I did that I gripped onto Chris's hand very tightly to try and help me get through the pain. But as I did that I heard Chris let out a little groan before I heard him let out a yawn as well.
When I heard that I opened my eyes and looked up at Chris and faintly smiled when I saw him starting to wake up.
Chris let out another yawn as he did a big stretch before he opened his eyes and looked down at me. But as soon as Chris looked down at me his eyes immediately widen in a bit of shock when he saw that I was awake.
"Hey sleepy head, your finally wake" Chris said with a smile as he put his elbows on my bed and leaned down toward me as he tighten his grip on my hand a bit.
"Hi" I said with a scratchy and dry voice as I smiled at Chris.
Chris faintly smiled at me thanks to that before he grabbed a glass of water with a straw in it off of the night stand nest to my bed.
"Here drink this" Chris said as he brought the straw close to lips. I smiled at that before I started to drink or more like gulp down the water in the glass thanks to how thirsty I suddenly felt.
After I drank enough water I stopped and leaned my head back into my pillow a bit more before letting out a relieved sigh.
"Thanks" I said as I moved around a bit to get a little more comfortable in bed.
"You're welcome" Chris said as he smiled at me again and started to draw circles into the skin on my hand as he continued to hold it.
I smiled at that. "How long have I been out of it for?" I asked.
Chris let out a little sigh. "Almost about two days" Chris stated.
"Really?" I asked as I looked at Chris in a bit of shock.
"Yeah, I was getting a little worried you weren't ever going to wake up again thanks to how much blood you lost after Parker shot" Chris said as he gave my hand a little squeeze with a worried look written on his face.
