Chapter Thirty Four: I like it

*Maya's P.O.V*

After me and my sisters shopped for a few more hours we decided to to stop and go home. So after we said goodbye to each other I got a cab to take me home.

When I got home I put my bags down and hung up my coat and purse before walking into the kitchen when I smelt something good cooking.

When I got to the kitchen I smiled when I saw Chris cooking what looked like a romantic dinner for two. I smiled nice and big at the sight and admired the sight for a little bit before I started to walk over to him.

"Her handsome" I said as I wrapped my arms around Chris' torso making him jump a bit.

"Hey, you scared me" Chris said with a chuckle in his voice as he continued to cook.

I chuckled lightly at that before kissing his neck. "That was the plan" I said as I snuggled into his back.

"I felt Chris smile at me before I felt him take hold of my hand.

"How was your day out with your sisters?" Chris asked as he continue on cooking.

"Very fun and nice."

"Yeah?"

"Yep...did a lot of shopping, went to the spa and got pedicures and also me and Katie got our haircut" I explained with a big smile.

"You got your haircut" Chris asked in complete shock.

"Yep" I said popping the 'p.'

"Let me see" Chris said as he put his cooking spoon down.

"Okay, turn around and you can see my new haircut" I said as I unwrapped my arms from Chris' torso.

"Okay" Chris said as he turned around to face me. And as soon as he did he eyes widen as he looked at me in shock.

I laughed at his face before I started to play with the ends of my hair.

"You like it?" I asked a bit nervous.

"I do....I like it a lot actually" Chris said with a big smile as he started to play with my hair as well.

I smiled at him before kissing his cheek nice and quick. "Thank you."

"Welcome" Chris said as he returned the smile back to me. "But why'd you get it cut?"

"So Ben can't pull on my hair anymore" I stated.

"Ah, yeah that has become a problem lately. so good call" Chris said with a faint smile.

I smiled back at him. "Thank you, and speaking of Ben where is he? is he taking a nap upstairs?" I asked as I looked around for my son.

"No, he's actually over at your moms" Chris said.

"Why's he at my mom's" I asked a bit confused.

"Because your mom has decided to give us the night off, so it's just the two of us tonight" Chris explained with a big smile.

"Aww, that was nice of her to do" I said.

"It was indeed" Chris said as he smiled at me.

I smiled back at him before wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him closer to me. "What do you planned for our night off mr. Evans?"

Chris smiled at me. "Well I was thinking we eat the fancy dinner I'm cooking out side under the stars and then after that sit on the couch, watch movie and make out for a little bit" Chris explained.

"Ooo, that sounds great. But could I make one small little adjustment?" I asked.

"Sure, what is it?" Chris asked.
