Chapter Thirty: Interview with Ellen Pt.1

*Maya's P.O.V*

When me, Chris, Ben and Lisa got to the Ellen show studio we were lead to a dressing room to wait in by one of the crew members who worked here.

When we got the dressing room me and Chris sat down on the floor and began to play with Ben while Lisa took pictures of us.

I was kneeling down on both of my knees and holding Ben on my lap while Chris was making funny faces at him when I heard someone say-

"Now that is a cute family moment right there."

Making me look over at the door way of the dressing room and smiling when I saw that it was Ellen Degeneres herself.

"Hey Ellen" Chris said as he got up off the ground before hugging Ellen.

"Hey Chris" Ellen said as she hugged Chris back.

I smiled at that before standing up after resting Ben in my arms.

"And is this you're lovely girlfriend Maya over here?" Ellen said as she looked over at me and smiled.

"Indeed it is" Chris said with a big smile.

I smiled at that before walking over to both him and Ellen.

"Hi Maya, very nice to meet you" Ellen said with a light smile as she extended her hand out for me to shake.

"Hi, very nice to meet you as well Ellen. I'm a big fan of yours" I said as I shook her hand.

"Thank you" Ellen said as smiled at me before looking down at Ben and smiling at him as well.

"And who is this little cutie in your arms?" She asked as she leaned forward a bit to look at Ben.

I smiled at her again before looking down at Ben as well.

"This is my son and Chris' little buddy Ben" I said.

"Hi there Ben, nice to meet you too little guy" Ellen said as she took hold of Ben's little hand in hers and started to lightly rub it.

Ben looked up at Ellen and smiled at her before moving around in my arms a bit as he made a cute baby sound making everyone smile at him.

"Oh my gosh he's adorable" Ellen said with a big smile as she lightly rubbed Ben's cheek making him smile.

"Thank you" I said with a big smile.

Ellen stood up straight and smiled at me again. "You're very welcome, and if you don't  mind...can I hold you're precious little baby?"

I lightly chuckled at that before smiling at her again.

"Sure you can" I said.

Ellen smiled at me again before opening her arms up so she could take hold of Ben. I carefully placed Ben in her arms and made sure she had him before stepping back a little and letting her hold Ben.

Ellen smiled at Ben as she bounced him up and down in her arms before looking up at me and Chris.

"So I actually came by to tell you two how the interview is going to go today" Ellen said.

"Okay" me and Chris said on unison making everyone chuckle and smile a bit.

"So for the interview today we're going to talk about the news report from a few days ago and who you and Ben are to Chris exactly" Ellen explained "Sound good?"

Me and Chris both looked at each other and smiled before looking back at Ellen and smiling at her to before nodding our heads. "Yeah sounds good" Chris said.
