It's been about two weeks since me and Chris found out about Parker escaping prison, and ever since then we're kind of been a little on edge. We don't want to be, but we're both just so scared that Parker is going to come looking for me and is going to try and ruin the happy life me, Chris and Ben have had so far.
That really scares me because if Parker tried to do that then it threatens all of our safety. Including Bens'. And I don't want that because he's still a little baby and doesn't deserve to be drawn into crap like this.
That really stresses me because I don't want my son being threaten to get hurt or actually getting hurt thanks to Parker . And I swear to god if Parker really does hurt Ben I will kill him.
"Maya?" Chris asked snapping me out of thought.
"Yeah" I said as I looked up at him while I played around with my coffee mug.
"Are you okay? You've seem a bit out of it today" Chris stated in concern as he walked over to me.
"Yeah I'm fine....I was just thinking about something, that's all" I said as I rubbed my hand up and down the back of my neck.
"What we're you thinking about?" Chris asked as he sat down next to me.
I let out a sigh. "I was thinking about Parker, the worry he's causing the both of us ever since we found out he escaped from Prison and what he could do if he finds me and takes me and or Ben from you."
Chris sadly smiled at me before taking hold of my hand in his. "That's bothering me too M, but whatever Parker is planning to do I promise you that I'll keep both you and Ben safe no matter what, I love you guys too much to let anything bad happen to you two."
I faintly smiled at him before pecking his lips nice and quick and resting my head on his shoulder as I wrapped my arms around his torso. Chris kissed the top of my head before wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close to him.
"Do you think he knows about Ben?" Chris asked as he rubbed his hand up and down my back.
"I don't know, but I hope he doesn't because then maybe that'll mean Ben won't be drawn into the crap Parker wants to start with you and me if he finds comes here and finds me" I said as I took hold of Chris's hand again.
"Well if that happens, just remember that I promised you that I'll keep both Ben and you safe no matter what. And I will make Parker regret escaping from prison if he hurts you and Ben in any way" Chris said as he rested his chin on the top of my head.
I faintly smiled at that before resting my head deeper into Chris shoulder as he tighten his grip on me a bit. We stayed that way a while, just enjoying the comfort of each other-that made me feel a bit more better- before we pulled away from each other when we heard Ben starting to cry.
"I'll go get him" Chris said as he got up.
"You sure?" I asked unsure. "Because I can get him if you don't feel like it."
"No it's okay I got him" Chris said as he smiled at me. "And besides you may want to start getting ready considering it's your first day of filming for Agents of SHIELD today and I assure you that you don't want to be late for that."
I laughed at that before smiling at Chris."I'll take your word for it cap."
Chris smiled at me before me and him walked towards our room and Ben's room before splitting up and doing what we need to do. When I got in mine and Chris' room I walked over to my closet and started to get changed.
