EJ POV

I looked in the mirror and made sure my hair was straight. I smiled at myself in the mirror checking myself out. I smiled one last time and noticed  he picture in my mirror of me and Jordan at the championship game. I felt a tear slip out my eye. Should I really be going on a date with my ex that I'm currently in like with instead of trying to get back the girl I love? I thought about it heavy while I got into my car that I had to wash all day. Thanks to the girls. I drove to Keisha's and knocked on the door.

??: someone's at the door Christian!

Ugh I forgot that nigga lives here. Wait that voice sounds familiar.

Christian: can you get it for me?

I heard footsteps getting closer and closer to the door. When the door opened my heart jumped then sank.

Jordan: EJ..

EJ: hello Jordan.. Is keisha here?

Christian: who was at the do- oh wow this is awkward.

He said coming to the door. Jordan elbowed his stomach and he held it.

Christian: ow. You big meanie.

Jordan: oh get over it. It didn't hurt that much.

He laughed. I hated how they had a playful relationship like that. But I can't get mad. She's not mine anymore😔

Christian: Keisha! Your whatever the fuck this is here.

Keisha: Christian! I saw a roach in the house! Eww your touching it!

She said referring to Jordan. Jordan moved Christian's hand so it would touch Keisha.

Jordan: why you talking bout yourself like that.

Christian laughed a little then covered his mouth.

Keisha: bye Christian.

Christian: bye. Watch this nigga.

Keisha: he's better then you.

Jordan POV

I closed the door after they leaves and sighed.

Jordan: that was awkward..

Christian: I know.

He picked up a blunt and started to smoke it.

Jordan: why do you smoke?

I asked sitting on the coach across from him.

Christian: I don't know. I just do.

Jordan: how do you get it?

Christian: I know a guy. Who knows a guy who sells it. Wanna try?

Jordan: nope. I'm good. I think I'm just going to drink this liquor.

I said taking a sip of it.

Christian: ard then.

I drink some more and he smoked some more. We was on Cloud 9😂

EJ POV

We pulled up to the board walk and got out. She walked next to me on the boardwalk. It was just like old times. We played a couple of games. Got on a couple of rides and just had fun.

Keisha: wanna get something to eat?

EJ: umm

Keisha: so no.

EJ: yeah. I'm not really hungry.

Keisha: I'm not going to lie I'm having fun.

EJ: me too. Look I know this is going to sound weird but do you wanna be my date to the prom?
