"This family meeting is definitely happening" Blaise said as he dumped my stuff on my desk in the Transfiguration classroom. I had basically ran the entire way to the classroom before entering the empty classroom and sitting down in my chair with my head resting gently in my folded arms on the desk.

"Woah" Blaise echoed my reaction from earlier when I lifted my face and be caught sight of my face. "It looks worse than it is" I lied flinching slightly at Blaise's glare. "Where is the rest of your gang?" I asked noticing that Blaise was alone.

"Told them I needed a private word with my sister" Blaise explained turning his glare to a worried look. "So I take it Roy told you I went chasing after a vampire" I grumbled and Blaise looked taken about. "Vampire?" Blaise questioned loudly and angrily sliding into the empty seat next to me.

"All Roy said was that you went running into the forbidden forest screaming out 'Casey'" Blaise explained sounding worried and I realised that Roy wouldn't have known it was a vampire; Now I felt stupider than I was already feeling. "Right" I said dumbly as students started to fill the room.

"I'll tell you everything later okay" I told Blaise who nodded with a sigh and clenching his jaw before giving me a quick hug and moving to his seat. "Oh my gosh" "Are you alright?" "What happened?" "What the?" "Flaming Hell" Hermione, Harry Ron, Dean and Seamus all said at the same time noticing my face.

"I'm not having a good day" I told them exhausted before turning to face the front of the room to avoid Harry's furious gaze. I noticed Draco's worried look before turning around but tried not to think too much of it. I already had so much explaining to do with Harry and Blaise I didn't need to worry about having to explain myself to Draco too.

"Miss Peterson" McGonagall did a double take upon entering the room and noticing me. "I wasn't expecting to see you here" McGonagall added stopping in front of my desk. "Couldn't really afford to miss any more classes" I responded acutely aware that the classroom had gone silent as soon as McGonagall had entered and that most people would be listening in.

"I have to give an announcement to the class regarding what happened" McGonagall said lowering her voice in an attempt to be discrete. "If you want to leave..." She trailed off but I shook my head. "Thank you" I said with a smile and grateful look. "But I don't really see a point in avoiding the inevitable" I told McGonagall who smiled. "How very Gryffindor of you" She responded almost proudly with the hint of a smile before walking to stand in front of her desk.

"Marcus" Michael from Ravenclaw greeted as Marcus entered the classroom. "Thought you were too sick to come" I heard Michael add and Marcus laugh in reply. "Didn't want to risk detention" Marcus replied.

"I have an announcement from Headmaster Dumbledore" McGonagall said to the class sternly which grabbed my attention away from listening to Marcus and Michael's conversation. "All across the school all students are receiving the same message from their professors" McGonagall continued clasping her hands in front of her.

"This morning you were all made aware of the incident regarding Miss Wollis" McGonagall said pausing when there was a small chorus of affirmation around the room. "And I'm sure by now most of you are aware of the incident that occurred a short while ago" This time the class broke off hushing amongst themselves; only a few people would know that something happened. But Jimmy, Ginny and I were the only students to know the full extent.

"In the fifth year Care of Magical Creatures class" McGonagall called loudly shutting up everyone's conversations. "One of our students was lured and tricked into almost crossing the school boundaries" McGonagall said shooting me a concerned look and I shivered at the memory of just how close I had been. I had been in the river. One foot on the other side and I would have been done for.
