The Other Potter

Chapter 5

Astoria shouted off the unforgivable curse and I froze. Eveybody was screaming and had drawn out their wands. Snape quickly send a spell which collided with the spell sending shockwaves that sent both Astoria and me slamming into the walls.

The explosion of spells was so intense I hit the wall then fell to the ground and couldn't even find the strength to stand.

"Sarah, Sarah are you okay?" Ginny was by my side with Jimmy and Ritchie. Ginny helped me sit up and leant me back against the wall, I noticed Pansy was also hovering in front of my face asking if I were alright.

 I could faintly hear Harry and the other Gryffindor's screaming at the Slytherin's but I didn't hear the Slytherin's yelling back. Madam Pomfrey was also hovering over me and telling Ginny that I had to be brought to the hospital wing.

I heard Snape bellowing for silence and then I didn't hear anything else, Ginny's face began to blur, and I couldn't feel Jimmy and Ritchie holding onto me, then everything went black.

~Dream~

I was standing in a field, grass everywhere and a soccer net had been set up. I looked around to see if anybody was around, "oof" I groaned as something hit my head, hard.

I spun back around to see a soccer ball close by and Casey giggling next to it. "Head's" she joked before kicking the ball at me once again.

"Casey, what...how...wh...?" I was lost for words, didn't she die? "Come on let's play" she yelled happily and began running to the goals, I followed.

"But you're supposed to be dead" I told her and she laughed "What are you going on about?" she asked and I looked at her in shock. "Have you been having nightmares again?" Casey asked me laughing and I just stood their unsure what to do.

"So you're not dead?" I asked and she giggled "I'm right in front of you, now come on kick me the ball" she said a little impatiently.

I smiled maybe it had all been a nightmare, I smiled and laughed kicking the ball to my sister. We played for hours and decided to head home.

Casey decided to cut through the woods via the park with the lake and didn't even realise until we got there, suddenly the sun was gone and it was cold, I was no longer in my jeans but in my pyjama's it was the middle of the night.

"No, Casey we have to go" I said grabbing her hand and trying to drag her away. "I can't leave" she said to me and I was crying now knowing what was going to happen. "Casey come on we have to go" I screamed

And tried to grab her hand, but it wasn't there, she was gone.

I spun looking for her and screamed when I saw her, in the Jaws of a werewolf. Her body dropped to the ground with a sickening thud "NOOOOOO" I screamed and the ware wolf seemed to smirk at me, and then it leaped.

I shot forward in the bed breathing heavily and looking around. I was in the hospital wing at Hogwarts and Harry was in front of me with a worried look on his face. "Shhh...it was only a dream" he was comforting me, "It was only a dream" he was telling me and I broke down crying.

"No it wasn't" I cried "It wasn't a dream" I sobbed into his chest and he held me while I cried. It was early afternoon, I should have been in Ancient Runes, it seemed I had been out for hours.

I finished crying and Madam Pomfrey told me that I could leave. It was only a little after three and I told Harry that I really wanted to go to class, I tried to persuade me not to but I told him it would make me feel better so he walked me to my ancient Runes class room and then left.

I took a deep breath before opening the door. Everybody turned to look at me and gasp. Luna was out of her seat and hugging me the moment she saw me. "Sarah, you're okay" she said happily. Flora and Hestia from their seat next to Luna also came up to me and gave me a hug.
