Chapter 41

After about an hour I calmed down and put the rings carefully back into my trunk. Splashing some water on my face I headed around the castle not really sure of where I was going. I ended up sitting outside by the lake playing with the strands of grass at my side.

"Getting some sun?" Jimmy asked walking to stand near me. "Gotta soak up all those vitamins" I responded trying to make a joke but my voice didn't come out right. "Do you wanna sit?" I asked after a few moments of silence. Jimmy nodded sitting down awkwardly beside me. "No Flora?" I asked earning myself a glare.

"I didn't mean it like that, just a general question" I said smiling. "Remember when you first got here?" Jimmy asked and I looked at him confused. "We were pretty good friends" he said and I nodded. "Yeah, did most things together" I said turning back to look at the lake. "Blew up snowman, played soccer, hung out, played Quidditch..." Jimmy trailed off.

"Yeah and then you quit" I said a little sadly. "Not just Quidditch, but everything" I added never taking my eyes of the lake. "I..." Jimmy started before stopping. "I messed up" he finally said and I turned to face him. "I miss my friends" he added sadly.

""Thank you, for having my back with Harry yesterday" Jimmy added and I smiled. "It's what friends do" I said softly causing Jimmy to raise his eye brows. "Friends fight sometimes" I told him. "Fall out of touch" I added. "But they still care about each other" I said making Jimmy smile.

"I was such a jerk to you yesterday morning" Jimmy said and I laughed. "Yeah, I was a bitch" I said and we both laughed. "I'm sorry" Jimmy said after we calmed down. "Me too" I said and he pulled me into a hug. "Good to have you back" I said hugging Jimmy.

"Good to be back" he said before we pulled away. "So are you back in Quidditch for good?" I asked and Jimmy winced "As long as Harry will have me" he said and I laughed. "Having back Jimmy and Ritchie, the dream team" I said giggling "He wouldn't dare break you two up" I said and Jimmy cringed.

"Ritchie is going to take a lot more time to come around than you" Jimmy said and I smiled "I'll work on him" I told him and he smiled. "I'll work on Flora for you" Jimmy said and I groaned. "She is so mad at me right now".

 "I told Flora how most everything was my fault" Jimmy said after a few seconds. "She's just angry about the insults you two were throwing at each other but she'll get over it soon. She always did like you" Jimmy said making me smile. "I hope so, I always like her and Hestia" I said.

"So Anne-Marie and Richie" Jimmy said grinning. "When did that happen?" he asked laughing and I joined in. "After Christmas break, I only found out about it after the last Quidditch game" I told Jimmy who laughed. "You know I really did enjoy seeing you two throwing a pillow at each other as well as insults" Jimmy said making me laugh.

"Makes me realise how much I've missed" He added sadly causing me to stop laughing. "Well you know there is always time to catch up" I said softly making Jimmy laugh. "Oh yeah?" He asked slyly before lunging for me and tickling me. "NO" I shrieked fighting to get away.

We spent a while down by the lake mucking around before heading back inside once it started to get colder. "Jimmy" Flora called from the court yard and we turned to see her sitting with Hestia and Theodor on one of the benches.

"What are you two doing?" She asked suspiciously coming up to us. "Just hanging out" Jimmy said leaning over to kiss Flora on the cheek. "Look Flora, about last night" I started but she cut me up. "Don't worry about it" she said looking at me.

"Look Theodor told me that Blaise spent the day with you yesterday at your families vault" Flora said making me flinch at the memories. "That would have had me on edge if I were you and any little thing would have set me off" she confessed.
