Chapter 4

We chatted some more about class work and random things when Ginny told us she had to get to Quidditch practice and running off. "Hey can one of you guys show me to the library, I want to finish some homework and read up on something for Care of Magical Creatures" I said to the boys.

"We can show you" Hestia jumped in. "Yeah we were heading there anyway for care of magical creatures" Flora said. "Cool because I really wanted to go watch Quidditch practice" Jimmy said and Ritchie agreed. I laughed and told them to go and then I walked to the library with Flora and Hestia.

We were seated at a table writing down notes and laughing at the strange little creatures called Bowtruckle's when Hermione walked in a frowned at me before walking over to us. She had her arms folded in front of her chest and a negative stance "Sarah can I please speak with you a moment" Hermione spoke to proper and precisely.

"Sure Hermione, I'll be right back" I told the twins before slipping out of my chair and walking a away with Hermione. "What's up?" I asked once Hermione decided we were far enough away to stop walking. "What do you think you're doing sitting with Slytherin girls?" Hermione hissed at me.

"Homework" I said shortly, I didn't like the way she was acting. "That doesn't explain why you are with Slytherin's" She hissed at me again. "Look Hermione I get that there is this house rivalry going on but I like Flora and Hestia, they are nice and I don't have a reason to dislike them" I told her a little annoyed.

"I can give you a reason, they are Slytherin's they are probably just using you for something" Hermione told me. "Hermione they helped me find my way to the library and are explaining to me what a Bowtruckle is" I told her really annoyed now. "Why do you need them to explain to you what Bowtruckle's are" she asked me.

"Because I don't know what they are and everybody else was busy and I didn't know how to find my way to the library, they offered to show me the way" I hissed at her. "And how do you expect to find your way back to the common room" she hissed at me and I rolled my eyes. "I'll think of something" I told her bitchily. "Get your stuff and I'll take you back now" Hermione told me and I rolled my eyes. "What? No, I'm doing my homework and I'm not going to stop and leave just because you tell me to, stop judging people Hermione you don't know them, they are nice. Right now they are a lot nicer than you" I told her before walking back to join the twins.

Hermione stormed out of the library and I rolled my eyes before continuing on with the homework. At about eight the twins left, I told them I wanted to practice some Charm's spells and that I would figure out a way to find my way to my dorm fine.

At eight thirty I decided to head back to the common room. I gathered up my books and ink and placed them in the backpack I had brought with me. My wand was in my robe pocket.

I left the library and tried to find my way back to the great hall, I could make my way back to my common room from there, I had made sure of that today. It was useless I had no sense of direction I was lost and the corridor I was in was completely empty.

I wandered down the corridor trying to recall which way to go when suddenly something appeared right in front of me. I screamed and jumped back pulling my wand out and pointing it towards....Sir Nicolas.

"Sir Nicolas" I said in relief as the ghost laughed and apologized for scaring me. I asked for him to help me find my way to the common room and he happily showed me the way, pointing out things to use as markers when I next needed to walk alone from the library.

I had Mary help me to get the ordinary Gryffindor bathroom's since Ginny was at practice still and wouldn't be back for a while. I headed back to my room and fell asleep instantly it had been a long day.
