"What do you mean they escaped?!?" A loud booming voice woke me suddenly causing me to jolt from my spot lying half on Jimmy with Seamus using my left leg as a pillow. "Umbridge" Dean murmured as we all groggily rose to our feet. The cave was filling with the faint light of morning as Umbridge stood berating our two captors.

"They jumped us" The vampire said defensively – I really needed to learn their names! "They are children" Umbridge shot back seemingly in disbelief. From the sounds of it, Brandon and Ann-Marie had gotten away and could hopefully lead Dumbledore and the others to our location. "Well, I guess this just goes to show that if you need something done right you need to do it yourself" Umbridge said before turning to look at us. "Let that be a lesson to you as well, never rely on others to do what you can do yourself" She added to us before stepping forward.

"Let us out" Seamus demanded stepping forward with his fists clenched. "You've had your fun now let us go" Dean added joining Seamus while the rest of us hung back. "Let you go?" Umbridge asked "No, no, no Mr Finnigan" Umbridge spoke stepping closer to us "How will I ever trade you for Potter and Granger if you are not here to trade?" She questioned and I rolled my eyes.

"Dumbledore will never make the trade" Dean snarled "You're just wasting your time" Dean added. However, the self-satisfied look on Umbridge's face remained. "I'm not relying on Dumbledore to make the trade. I am relying on Potter and Grangers misplaced sense of honour" Umbridge drawled out.

"Misplaced?" Ginny questioned. "Indeed, Miss Weasley" Umbridge said with a glare. "In fact, I do believe you would make the perfect first volunteer" Umbridge said gesturing to the two men behind her. "We took them before we can take them again" Seamus whispered and Jimmy stepped forward to join he and Dean.

"Remember, they can only take one at a time, there is three of them and five of us" Jimmy whispered to Ginny and I looking determined. "I don't want to leave you" I whispered desperately" clutching at the back of Jimmy's flying robe.

"Remember, run and don't look back" Jimmy told me sympathetically and I nodded grabbing Ginny's hand tightly fighting to hold back my tears. This was it – our chance to escape. "Step aside" Umbridge demanded brandishing her wand and Jimmy, Seamus and Dean did as she asked in the hopes that by obeying her she as less likely to cast any binding spells. – Umbridge had a wand, we didn't!

"Proceed" Umbridge instructed primly and the two lackeys unlocked the cage door stepping inside eyeing off the boys as they passed them before making a grab at Ginny "No" I cried as Ginny shrieked – 'Act helpless' Seamus's words from earlier in our planning stage echoed in my mind.

"Now" Dean cried running at Umbridge who was waiting by the cage door knocking his elbow into her face before she had a chance to even cast a spell. Seamus grabbed the vampire by his jacket and threw him against the wall slamming his fist into his neck for good measure – no way was he risking a hit to the face with those pointy teeth!

Jimmy grabbed the other guy and with help from Dean managed to get him away from Ginny. "I normally would never hit a lady" Dean uttered sparing Umbridge a glance before gesturing at Ginny and me to run. Dean was first out of the cage helping Ginny over Umbridge's body on the ground and then helping me.

A cry from behind had us whipping our heads around to see that mystery man had tackled Jimmy to the floor and the vampire was recovering quickly from his assault. "RUN" Dean shouted pushing Ginny and me towards the cave entrance.

"Jimmy" I cried moving to step back towards him "GO" Dean reiterated pushing me once more before rushing back to help Seamus and Jimmy. "Sarah come on!" Ginny yelled dragging me towards the cave entrance. I knew it was the plan, to run and not look back but, honestly, I felt like I was betraying them by leaving them there.
