"Braised sausages, Mashed potato, pumpkin and spinach...This is what I call I a good dinner" Jimmy said excitedly having practically leapt from his seat when dinner had appeared. "So you really went chasing after a vampire?" Romilda asked and I nodded.
"Pretty stupid huh" I said lightly filling my own plate with the same as Jimmy but with extra gravy...mmmmhmmmm gravy!
"You're lucky you weren't killed" Mary said disapprovingly "Just look at all your injuries" She added dramatically and I had to stifle a small laugh. "I was so worried; we all were" Mary added Absent-mindedly before glaring at me "Don't ever do something so stupid again" Mary demanded waiting for me to nod in acknowledgement before turning her attention back to her food before joining a conversation between Jack and Vicky.
"That is going to look so much worse tomorrow" Colin said cautiously before quickly snapping a photo when I turned to look at him. "Colin" I whined childishly "I can't believe you fell for such an obvious trap" Jimmy taunted and Ginny laughed with Colin.
"It really will though" Colin added confidently. "The swelling will go up and more bruises will probably appear and the ones you already have will probably change colour" Colin explained cleverly. "It's true" Jimmy confirmed and I caught myself just in time to stop hitting my head on the table in frustration.
"Are any of your wounds from Transfiguration? I heard that the whole ceiling fell down on you and Harry" Natalie from fourth year asked and I nearly choked on the large amount of pumpkin I had just stuffed into my mouth.
"No the whole ceiling didn't fall down....Just the chandelier" I conceded flinching slightly at the memory. "And Harry pushed Ron and I out of the way" I added as an afterthought. "So I'd imagine you got a whole bunch of homework done being in the library all afternoon?" Ginny asked between bites of her Chicken Parmigiana.
"No unfortunately" I answered slightly annoyed. "For one I didn't have any of my homework with me and also Blaise, Draco, Hermione, Harry, Ron and I had sort of a group meeting" I explained before rolling my eyes. "And by group meeting I mean an interrogation of me" I said crabbily before stabbing my fork through a piece of sausage.
"My brother sat with Slytherin's?" Ginny asked shocked and I laughed at the memory. "It wasn't exactly civil. Lots of arguments between him and Draco" I added cheerfully thinking back on some of the ridiculous things they had both said to each other.
"I can guess" Ginny smiled. "My personal favourite was when Ron called Draco a git and Draco called Ron Weaslebee" I explained grinning causing Ginny to laugh too. "So have you and Malfoy talked about the kiss?" Ginny asked and I shook my head. "Have you and Harry talked about the kiss?" I countered and Ginny shook her head too.
"Why do boys have to be so hard" Ginny asked and I shrugged "I really don't know....I think he's mad at me" I added depressed and Ginny shot eyes to me "Why?" She asked confused. "Harry asked if I had feelings for Ritchie" I told her and her eyebrows shot up into her hair line. "You have feelings for Ritchie?" She asked baffled.
"No" I deadpanned "Harry asked if it did" I repeated glaring at Ginny. "Well if you told him no why would Malfoy be angry with you?" Ginny asked confused again. "Because I got all confused when trying to explain it and basically said that Ritchie and I were perfect examples of those old myths were people had two heads and four arms which Blaise explained was how the whole soul mate thing got started so I back peddled and said that Ritchie and I were platonic soul mates and that he is my favourite person and that I choose to love Ritchie like family even though we technically are not even related at all..." I rushed out quickly and sat waiting for Ginny to say something.
"Platonic soul mates?" She finally drawled out judgingly and I groaned catching myself again before banging my head on the table. "See" I exclaimed "Awful" I added rolling my eyes "I'll be surprised if he ever talks to me again" I said sulking into my chair. "Here have some cake" Ginny said soothingly passing me a plate of chocolate mud-cake with raspberries.
