The Other Potter

Chapter 19

I didn't really speak to anybody else for most of the night, Ginny came by for a while but left with Dean a short while later, Jimmy and Ritchie also came and sat with me and convinced me to go to dinner with them.

I sat at dinner listening to the whispers and comments about me from students I had never even met, turns out the rest of the school had become aware of the fact that I was Blaise's half-sister. I sat with my head down not really eating anything, I had been starving before but now with the things people were saying my stomach was nauseous.

I tuned into what a Ravenclaw student behind me was saying and ducked my head lower using my hair to cover my eyes. "I heard that the reason she wasn't there when 'you know who' came is because he had already taken her and was raising her as a deatheater" one girl said and a boy joined in.

"I heard she was sent away because neither the Potters or the Zabini's wanted her" he said and another boy joined in. "Yeah and that they were paying the family she was staying with money to keep her" "Her family were training her to kill Harry Potter" the first girl said "I heard she killed her family herself" another girl joined the conversation and I couldn't control my anger.

"I heard that you are all stupid gossipy nobody's with nothing better to do than spread rumours and lies, grow up and get a life" I said to them angrily before standing and walking out of the great hall.

Nobody followed me, and for that I was grateful. I headed towards the common room with my mind lost in its own thoughts. "Sarah" the sound of somebody calling out my name shocked me back into reality. "Draco" I said surprised.

"Shouldn't you be at dinner?" Draco questioned and I raised my eyes "Shouldn't you" I asked back and he chuckled. "I'm heading there now" he said and I nodded in understanding. "Cool, have fun with that" I said and attempted to walk away.

"Where are you going?" Draco asked grabbing hold of my wrist effectively stopping me escape. "Nowhere" I said a little defensively and almost cried when my stomach growled. "Why aren't you at dinner" Draco asked curiously.

"None of your business" I said crossing my arms and realising how hungry I really was. Stupid people and their need to know everything about everyone, there is no way I was going back to dinner. "Come on" Draco said as he started dragging me down the hallway towards the great hall.

"What NO!" I shrieked and tried to pull my arm free. Draco turned to look at me strangely. "Why not?" he asked and I shook my head "Because I don't want to" I said like a child and Draco looked at me amused. "And why don't you want to?" he asked in an amused tone.

"Because I just don't okay?" I shrieked and continued trying to get my arm out of his grip. We were standing near the stair well and when Draco tried dragging me again I latched me free hand onto the wall and locked one of my feet behind the corner as well.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Draco asked annoyed and I kept trying to free my arm, he had such a strong grip it was starting to hurt. "Why do you care" I yelled at him and readjusted my slipping grip on the wall. "Because I just do" Draco said and I was so shocked I didn't even say anything in reply, I lost my grip on the wall and stumbled into Draco a little.

"Why don't you want to go?" He asked and I tried to grab the wall again but he pulled me away too fast. "Because I've already been" I said and Draco smirked. "You're hungry" he pointed out and I wanted to cry "No I'm not" I said and he laughed. "Your stomach doesn't agree with you" he stated.

"Please don't make me go back down there" I said after a moment and Draco actually let go of my arm. "What happened?" he asked crossing his arms and I sank to the ground leaning against the wall and pulling my knees to my chest making sure my robe covered me. "Nothing" I said and sighed when Draco sat down beside me.
