~Saturday~

"Seriously Ritchie it will get better" I said to Ritchie Saturday morning at breakfast, Jimmy had ran off with Flora and Ritchie was angry because Jimmy had promised a boys day out today. "It's just so frustrating, I mean does he have to spend all his time with her, even in class now he's always with her" Ritchie complained and I sympathised.

"At least you guys have Quidditch together" I told him and he laughed dryly "Yeah but even during Quidditch practice all he can talk about is her" he said sourly and I cringed. "I know I sound pathetic" Ritchie said suddenly and I laughed.

"No you don't sound pathetic, a little jealous but not pathetic" I joked and Ritchie smiled slightly. It was his idea to have a boys day out" Ritchie complained "You weren't even invited" he said and I laughed "Look I get that Jimmy has been distant but he has a girlfriend and it would probably be him sitting here with me complaining if it were switched around" I told Ritchie and he looked annoyed.

"He'll get over it eventually, it's just so fresh and different but soon he will come down off his little high and everything will be back to normal" I said and Ritchie groaned. "You told me that the other day" he said and I laughed "Yeah well it's true, everybody goes through it" I said and sighed.

"Have you thought of asking anybody else out, that would be the best way to occupy the time, and who know's maybe you might find somebody you like more than Hestia" I said and he looked glum. "I haven't really had time to notice other girls, I spent all my time planning how to get with Hestia I never noticed anybody else" Ritchie confessed.

"But she's been with Theodore for a little while now, you havnt noticed anybody else?" I asked and he shrugged "I spend all my time with you" he said and laughed when a look of fear flashed across my face "Don't worry I don't like you" he said and I laughed.

"Good cause that would be weird" I confessed and we both laughed. "Well...okay there are no good options in the fifth year Gryffindor department, even though Mary is practically in love with you" I said looking down the table and Ritchie looked horrified at that little piece of news. "No Ravenclaw fifth years either, they all suck besides Luna but she isn't for you" I said and Ritchie nodded.

"What about somebody in Hufflepuff, Hannah's pretty cool I wonder if she has any friends who might go out with you" I said looking towards Hannah who was sitting with Seamus. "Hannah's in her sixth year" Ritchie pointed out "Do you not like older girls?" I asked and Ritchie shook his head.

"Hey guys what's up?" Ginny asked as she sat down across from us. "Just trying to find a girl to take Ritchie's mind off Jimmy and Flora" I informed Ginny and she sighed. "He ditch you again?" she asked and Ritchie nodded.

"What about Anna Mirfield' Ginny said pointing to a fourth year Gyrffindor girl. "She's a little too snobby for my taste" Ritchie said and I looked at the other fourth year Gryffindor girls.

"What about her" I said pointing to a pretty girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes. "That's Natalie Fairbourne, she's really good at exploding snap, I've played her a few times" Ritchie explained and then shook his head "No way, she's only got eyes for Colin" he explained and I looked towards Colin.

"Does he know?" I asked and Ginny nodded "Yeah, finds her sweet but annoying" she laughed and I looked for another girl. "I got nothing" I said after a moment and Ginny shrugged as well. "Doesn't matter who we point out, until he's over Hestia he won't see anything in anybody else" Ginny said and I shrugged.

"So what are we doing today?" Ginny asked and Ritchie and I looked at her shocked "No Dean?" I asked and she shrugged "Not today" she said and I smiled and looked at Ritchie. "Soccer or blowing up snowmen?" Ritchie asked and I thought for a moment "Exploding snowmen" I said and we grabbed Ginny and left the great hall.
