"You will simply love sixth year Charms" Hermione said to me happily at breakfast the next morning. "We have already learned one charm, and are learning our second now, I spoke with Professor Flitwick and he said I could teach you the first charm we learned after class so you will be at the same place as the rest of us" Hermione continued and I smiled.

"What was the first charm?" I asked curiously. "Changing the colour of your hair" Hermione said excitedly and I grinned at the thought. "Yeah but that's nothing compared to the charm we are learning now" Ron jumped in excitedly. "Of course most students already know the spell but Professor Flitwick has to go over every little thing with us" Ron Rambled on.

"Sarah" Jimmy said from a little down the table, "We are heading to class, you coming?" he asked and I rose from my chair "Sure am" I said happily waving goodbye to Hermione, Ron and Harry.

"So seeing as you wrote Ritchie's Introduction, I think it's only fair that you write a paragraph for my essay" Jimmy said when I reached him and the other fifth year students. "What? I don't think so Mr I don't need help from anyone" I said sarcastically and laughed when he pouted.

"Oh come on, I'll be your best friend" Jimmy continued and I giggled with Ginny "How does Ritchie feel about that?" She asked and Jimmy grinned "He will understand" we talked the whole way to DADA and were chatting happily when Snape suddenly stormed his way into the classroom.

Everybody immediately went silent and Snape reached the room turning to us with a glare. "We will be moving on to non-verbal spells" Snape said and I twitched, now wasn't that just the biggest coincidence in the world.

"Do not get overly excited, most of you will not achieve anything in this particular subject but for those skilled enough to pull it off you will find this to be a great tool..."Snape continued to drawl on and on about something that summed up shortly translated as most of us suck and will fail and we have to write an essay on non-verbal spells 'great'.

We started off with the basics, casting light and I was frustrated when nothing happened. I kept trying and found myself incredibly angry when I couldn't make any light, Snape was making comments in the back ground. He was disappointed in us, 'I knew nobody was talented to pull it off, useless and incompetent, can't even cast a simple Lumos charm, blah blah blah', stupid old man I'll give you lumos.

"Oh my god, she did it" Romilda squealed and I focused my attention on her, she like everybody in the else in the room was looking at my wand I turned my eyes there and squeaked.

"Interesting" was the only response I received from Snape at my huge accomplishment. "Now put it out" Snape said and I attempted it...and nothing happened. Snape raised his eye brows and turned back to the Slytherin students muttering about dumb luck or cheating.

I had no luck putting out the light and left the classroom frustrated. "Stupid, sad, lonely, angry, bitter, loveless, friendless, evil, conniving..." I was mouthing off about Snape to Ginny, Jimmy and Ritchie when I met up with Hermione, Ron and Harry.

"Let me guess, Snape?" Ron said and I frowned mouthing off some more choice words. "We started on non-verbal magic, Sarah managed to create light after a while but when Snape told her to put it out she couldn't" Ginny informed them and they shot me sympathetic looks.

"He called her a cheater" Jimmy added and I mouthed off even more. "That man is simply horrid" Hermione said to me and I went silent but was still screaming inside my head. "I think it only works when she's angry" Ritchie added and I shot him a glare.

"Angry, only happens when I'm angry?" I shouted at him "Yesterday I silenced Kim freaking whatever her stupid last name is without even thinking of a spell and today I can hardly even make light appear" I swished my wand and didn't even notice the light that appeared "and then I can't even put the stupid light out" I said again and the light went out without me noticing.
