Chapter 53

"Hey! You will never guess what just happened in the....Are you alright?" Ginny asked stopping mid-sentence upon seeing me lying face first on my bed. "No" I mumbled into my pillow before sitting up to look at Ginny. "What happened?" Ginny asked sitting on the end of my bed.

"I kissed Draco" I told her and Ginny laughed "Yeah like two weeks ago" She told me smiling "Again" I said softly "I kissed Draco again, just now" I informed Ginny nervously. "Seriously?" Ginny asked with her jaw dropping "Well what happened?" She asked shocked.

"He caught me after dinner and we were just chatting but then I noticed Blaise and Harry with Professor Snape" I had to stop since Ginny shot me a confused look "I think they were going to make him show them what Snape saw in class" I explained and anger seemed to mix in with the shock on Ginny's face.

"And then I got mad and started yelling and next thing I knew Draco was kissing me and I was kissing him back" I explained quickly and in one breathe and Ginny sat back stunned. "And then his friends came around the corner and I fled" I rushed out before sulking.

"Wow" Ginny breathed out. "Also there may have been a bunch of younger girls nearby watching so I'm sure it'll be around the whole school in no time" I added bitterly. "Why did you run away?" Ginny asked after a moment. "Because..." I trailed off unsure. "I don't even know" I groaned.

"I don't know what it means and I don't know what to do" I ranted slightly before chewing on my lip waiting for Ginny to say something. "What do you want it to mean?" She asked tentatively and I thought back to my conversation with Harry the day before.

"I don't know" I admitted miserably. "I don't know if I am even ready for it to mean anything" I added just as miserable. "All I know is that I like him...a lot" I added picking at the blanket too scared to look at Ginny. "I will never understand it" Ginny said softly. "But if you really like Malfoy..." Ginny trailed off slightly before shaking her head "Than maybe you should take a risk and see what happens. Just take it a day at a time and see what he does" She said gently. "Maybe you aren't ready...But maybe you are" She added before groaning.

"Gosh I hate giving you advice on boys when the boy in question is Malfoy" Ginny added making me laugh looking at her again. "I'm sorry" I told her truthfully. I knew that none of the Gryffindor students liked Draco or any of the Slytherin's really except for Jimmy but I couldn't help how I felt.

Besides Blaise was my brother and he was a Slytherin as well as one of Draco's best friends. "When did life get so complicated?" I asked Ginny amused who laughed and shrugged "I don't know. When boys no longer had cooties I suspect" She answered and I laughed along with her.

"So what were you talking about when you came in?" I asked changing the conversation and Ginny quickly perked right up "So I was in the library and Duncan, Bradley and Jason from Ravenclaw were in the next aisle over from where Mary and I were getting the books we needed" Ginny started  to explain.

"And they were talking about the girls in our year" Ginny continued excitedly and I shot her a weird look. "And rating them" Ginny added giggling and I looked at her shocked. "How is that funny?" I asked Ginny disgusted. "Because Mary and I managed to get our hands on one of the lists" Ginny said excitedly throwing a piece of paper at me.

"Our guide to the fifth year population" I read aloud before moving to the first girl on the list "Flora Carrow, Personality - six, Looks - seven, Body - six, Intelligence - Seven, Sex Appeal - Six" I read appalled "Total score thirty-two; other notes 'Fuckable'" I continued noticing that Hestia was below her sister with a higher score of Thirty-Three having scored higher personality wise.

"What exactly is so exciting about this list? It's disgusting" I told Ginny looking at her confused. "Almost every single girl in our year is on that list" Ginny said grinning "So?" I asked scanning the list of names again. "So Mary and I are going to show this to every girl on that list" Ginny said still grinning "And then come up with some revenge" She added wickedly and I smiled too.
