Carmen's Pov.

I woke up with my hair in my face and my legs to my chest. I pushed my hair aside and kicked off my blanket. It was hot, almost too hot in my room, and I needed fresh, cool air. I sat up in my bed and stretched my arms then froze. I look over to my left to see nothing but an empty space. I frown and balled my weak fist.

Harry has left the building. It's not much of a surprise yet sadness washes over me. After what happened last night I thought he'd stay the night. Sadly, I thought the same thing when he had me on the kitchen counter. I had been wrong then, too.

I looked over at the clock on my dresser, squinting my eyes to read it. The glowing green words read 2:37am and I signed. I rubbed my eyes and looked back at empty spot next to me. I swallowed a lump in my throat and stood up. I needed some water or something.

I stepped out of my room quietly. Julie was probably sound asleep right now and if I were to wake her she would be very cranky for the rest of the day. I tiptoed down the hall toward the kitchen thinking about Harry. Why did he have to leave? Especially after messing with my emotions like that last night.

I stopped in my tracks when I enter the kitchen and my mouth fell open. Harry was sitting at the counter with his back toward me. He wasn't wearing a shirt or any shoes but was scrolling through his phone and drinking out of cup. In the dim light I could see the scares on his back and his hair was slightly messy.

"Oh." I said out loud then pressed my lips into a thin line.

Harry turned around in shock. He put his phone and drink down and turned around in his seat. My eyes wandered down his arms, chest, and stomach. His tattoos showed well, even in the dim light, and even at two in the morning Harry looked like a work of art.

"What's wrong?" Harry asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"N-Nothing." I said and shrugged my shoulders, walking over to the fridge. "How, uh, long have you been up."

"A few hours, I guess." Harry said as I looked through the fridge. I initially came in her to get something to drink, now I can't even focus on what to grab. "I was just thinking about some stuff. Kept me up."

I nodded my head and tapped my nail on fridge handle. I welcomed the cold air as it hit my bare face and arms, enjoying being cooled off.

"Why are you up?" Harry asked hesitantly and I finally pulled a water out of the fridge.

"I, uh, was hot." I said quickly and took the cap off my water, bringing it to my lips and tipping it back. I really, really didn't think Harry would stay. Especially after what happened last night between us.

"Carmen." Harry called and I swallowed what was in my mouth and turned around. Harry was still facing me, his arms crossed over his broad chest. His eyebrows were furrowed.

"What?" I asked, my voice quiet as I stared into his eyes.

"Are you okay?" Harry's voice was strong and demanding. His body was tense and I ran my hands nervously along my bottle.

"I-I'm fine." I stuttered and looked down at the floor. I have no idea why I'm acting like this and I wish I could stop. "I just..."

Harry stood up from his chair and took a step toward me. My breathing hitched and I continued to mess nervously with my water bottle.

"Just what?" Harry asked. I swallowed the lump rising in my throat and looked him in the eyes.

"I thought you left." I told him honestly. "And when I saw you didn't...I don't know."

I looked down at my hands. They were cold and wet from the condensation of water bottle. As I stared at my hands I was totally unprepared for Harry to place two fingers under my jaw, lifting my head.

I flinched at his touched, surprised, and looked up at him. Before I could say anything, he cupped my cheeks. My body froze and my heart pounded in my chest. As dropped the water bottle to the floor, not caring about it anymore, and watched as Harry slowly leaned forward, pressing his lips against mine.

I closed my eyes, put my hands on his chest. His lips were warm and soft against mine and I released a sigh against his lips. I leaned in closer and Harry moved his hands to the small of my back.

Harry's tongue swiped across my bottom lip and I opened my mouth. His tongue felt like silk against mine and I let out a moan. I wrapped my hands around his neck, pulling him closer to me. My heart was pounding in my chest and it was like the blood in my veins were on fire. I took Harry's lip between my teeth and earned a moan from him. He gently pressed me against the fridge and kissed me deeper.

"Carmen." Harry whispered husky and ran his lips down my neck, sucking on my skin.

My head was swimming and I didn't want this to end. This feeling was so magical, I didn't want to let it go. When Harry's lips came back to mine, I eagerly kissed him desperately. Harry's hand slowly ran up my shirt and his fingers brushed my stomach. His touch sent a tingling sensation through my body and right now he was all I wanted.

Sooner than I would have liked, Harry and I pulled away. His hands stayed on my body and we were both breathing heavily. I looked up at Harry to see him with a smirk on his face.

"I never thought I could have that much fun just kissing a girl." Harry muttered and I blushed, unsure of what to say.

A small smile crept on my face and I bit my bottom lip.

"Um," I said, holding in a laugh that tried to come out. Weird. "I, uh, should probably get back to bed. Long day tomorrow."

"Yeah, girls and their beauty sleep." Harry said, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear.

I let out a laugh and Harry gave me a wink as I walked toward my room, smiling.
