This is the continues chapter from " wrong "...

The next morning dawned with a deceptive calm,
sunlight streaming through the large windows of the house, casting golden patterns on the hardwood floors. The events of the previous day in Yujin's room-the heated kisses, Wonyoung's dominance, his desperate push for restraint-hung over him like a fog. He'd barely slept, tossing and turning, replaying the moments: her lips on his, her whispers challenging him to admit more, his own admission that he liked her slipping out like a confession under duress. But he'd held the line, barely, retreating to his bed with a pounding heart and a resolve to keep distance. Today, he vowed, would be normal. No more temptations, no more blurring boundaries.

Wonyoung, however, had other plans. She'd woken early, her mind buzzing with the thrill of their encounter. She knew she'd pushed him to the brink, and his admission-though not the full "love" she'd teased for-had been a victory. But she wanted more, to see how far his feelings ran, especially after his insistence that it was "wrong." With their parents still away, the house felt like their private domain, ripe for testing limits. She texted a few friends from university-a mix of girls and one guy, Minho, whom she'd known since freshman year. "Come over? Parents out, let's hang," she'd messaged, knowing it would stir things up if Yujin was around. Minho had a harmless crush on her, something she'd never encouraged but now saw as a tool to gauge Yujin's jealousy.

By midday, the living room buzzed with energy. Wonyoung's friends-three girls, bubbly and chatty, and Minho, tall with a easygoing smile-sprawled on the couches, snacks scattered across the coffee table: chips, sodas, and leftover ice cream from the night before. Laughter echoed through the space as they swapped stories from classes, roasting each other over failed group projects and campus drama. Wonyoung sat in the center, her laughter bright and infectious, her oversized sweater slipping off one shoulder as she animatedly described a professor's latest blunder. Minho sat close, his knee occasionally brushing hers, his eyes lingering a bit too long on her smile. The group was having fun, the kind of carefree vibe that filled the empty house with life, but Wonyoung's mind occasionally drifted upstairs, wondering when Yujin would appear.

Yujin stirred from his fitful sleep around noon, the sounds of laughter filtering up through the floorboards like an unwelcome alarm. His room still bore the marks of yesterday-the snooker table now fully assembled, cues racked neatly, a silent reminder of their charged encounter on its edge. He groaned, rubbing his eyes, the memory hitting him fresh: her moans, her teasing touches, his push away. "Wrong," he'd said, and he meant it-but the ache in his chest said otherwise. He liked her, more than he should, but what now? Ignore it? Confront it? He didn't know, the confusion knotting his gut.

Pushing it aside, he dragged himself to the bathroom, stripping off his sleep-worn clothes and stepping under the hot shower. The water cascaded over him, steaming the mirror, but it did little to wash away the tension. He scrubbed vigorously, as if to erase her scent from his skin, her whispers from his mind. After drying off, he pulled on a black hoodie-his college emblem embroidered on the chest, a subtle nod to their shared university-and loose gray sweatpants. Casual, unassuming, a shield of normalcy. His hair was still damp, tousled in that effortlessly messy way, as he headed downstairs, drawn by thirst and curiosity about the noise.

The kitchen adjoined the living room, separated by a half-wall that offered a partial view. Yujin entered quietly, his bare feet silent on the tile, acting unbothered as he headed straight for the fridge. But he saw them-Wonyoung in the midst of her friends, her head thrown back in laughter at some joke one of the girls made. Minho leaned in, adding a quip that made her smile widen. Yujin's stomach twisted, but he masked it, grabbing a bottle of water and twisting the cap off with more force than necessary.
