The mall was already loud, but nothing—absolutely nothing—was louder than six-year-old Jinwon in a mood.

People stared. Employees froze. The bodyguard behind Yujin pretended to be invisible.

And Yujin…
Yujin just stood there with a shopping bag in one hand, patience evaporating and pride dying second by second, as his son dramatically lay flat on the polished mall floor like he had been emotionally destroyed by life.

Jinwon kicked his tiny feet.
He groaned loudly.
He even turned his cheek to the floor like he was reenacting a tragic drama scene.

And Yujin simply sighed.

The arrogant CEO, the feared billionaire, the man who made grown executives tremble… stood in public looking defeated by a six-year-old.

“Jinwon,” Yujin said, voice low, calm, and dangerously close to losing it. “Get up.”

Jinwon responded by whining louder and rolling an inch to the left.

Behind him, the bodyguard shifted awkwardly, unsure if he should help or pretend this child was not the future heir to Yujin’s empire.

People were giggling.
Students took out their phones, whispering, “Isn’t that CEO Ahn?”
Someone even whispered, “His son’s so cute—oh my god, look at him.”

But Yujin didn’t care. He had long learned that toddlers had the power to erase a man’s dignity in seconds.

“Jinwon,” he said again, a little firmer.

Jinwon covered his ears dramatically. “NOOOO!”

Yujin inhaled slowly, crouched down beside the tiny chaos machine, and brought out the emergency weapon every parent hides in their pocket:

A lollipop.

The shiny red candy glinted under the mall lights.
Yujin held it out with the straightest face.
“Take it, get up, and stop acting like a baby.”

Jinwon blinked.
He sniffed.
Then—shockingly—he turned his head away.

“I don’t want…”

Yujin froze. The bodyguard froze. Time froze.

He rejected… candy?

Yujin stood back up like he was done with life. “Suit yourself.”

And then he turned around and started walking.

No yelling.
No begging.
No negotiating.

Just a cold CEO stride that said, “I refuse to be defeated by someone who can’t even spell the word ‘behavior’.”

The bodyguard hurried after him, trying not to laugh.

Jinwon remained on the floor for exactly three more seconds.

1…
2…
3—

Then his little head shot up.

“DADDYYY!”

He scrambled to his feet so fast he almost slipped, tiny sneakers squeaking loudly. He sprinted, stumbling every few steps, arms flailing as he chased the long legs of his father.

“Daddy waitttt!”

Yujin didn’t look back, but the corner of his lips twitched.

Jinwon crashed into his father’s leg, hugging it tight like a koala. “Don’t leave meeee!”

“You rejected the lollipop.”

“Nooo give me now!”
His face was already blotchy from crying, hair messy, shirt crooked—but his eyes were big and desperate.
