This is the continues of still him part 4
“Yujin, you need to go to the hospital.”
Wonyoung’s voice came out firmer this time.
Not hesitant anymore.
She stepped closer to him, eyes fixed on the blood slowly soaking through the poorly wrapped bandage around his arm.
Up close, he looked even worse.
Pale.
Exhausted.
Like he was forcing himself to stay awake through pure will alone.
Yujin immediately shook his head.
“I’m okay.”
Same answer again.
Calm.
Polite.
But weaker now.
“You’re bleeding,” Wonyoung said quietly.
“It’ll stop.”
“You could still have glass inside your arm.”
“I cleaned it.”
Wonyoung stared at him in disbelief.
“You cleaned it yourself in a storage room.”
Yujin lowered his eyes slightly.
“…It’s enough.”
No anger.
No attitude.
And somehow that made it more frustrating.
Because he genuinely believed enduring pain quietly was normal.
Wonyoung clenched her fingers slightly.
“Why are you acting like this isn’t serious?”
Yujin stayed silent for a moment before answering softly.
“Because it’s not worth making trouble over.”
That answer made something in her chest ache sharply.
Before she could respond again—
Her mother suddenly stepped forward.
And unlike Wonyoung, her voice carried the natural authority of an adult who had already decided something.
“Yujin.”
Yujin immediately looked up slightly out of reflex.
Respect still instinctive even after all these years.
Her expression softened seeing that.
“You’re coming with us.”
Yujin immediately shook his head again.
“No, ma’am. I’m really fin—”
“At least to a clinic.”
Her tone stayed gentle.
But firm.
“You need proper cleaning and treatment.”
Yujin looked away slightly.
“It costs money.”
That honesty made the silence heavier.
Wonyoung’s mother’s eyes softened painfully.
“Oh, sweetheart…”
Yujin instantly looked uncomfortable hearing that tone.
“It’s okay,” he said quickly. “I already treated it.”
