" If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present."
-Lao TzuPutting my bottled water in the back pocket of my jeans; I leaned my shoulder against the wall with a sigh and waited for Ji Yong's lemon tea. The blonde teenage brista was quite snippy and rude as she took my order rolling her brown eyes before dissapearing in the back. Fifthteen long minutes had already passed and I really didn't understand why it was taking so long to make the drink. Were they growing and drying the tea leaves in the back? Looking around the halls of the venue I saw various fans happily moving about buying drinks, food, and merchandise. I smiled to myself feeling so happy for Ji Yong. He had fans all over the world that didn't even speak his language but loved him. It was a true testament to his talent and hard work. I still couldn't believe we're now an offical couple and that out of all the women in world he wanted to be with me. For the first time in a long time I was happy and in love. I was living in the present, I was here experiencing my now and right now everything was amazing. Well, except for the girl that was taking forever to make the tea. Walking closer to the cream colored counter I placed my hands on it and leaned forward trying to see if I could catch a glimpse of the employee through the tiny window of the back door.
Finally after another couple of mintues the blonde trudged lazily back through the employee entrance and set my cup of tea on the counter before me. Her disposition hadn't improved at all as she said nothing to me texting on her phone.
"Is there honey in this?" I asked.
She looked up annoyed and reached under the counter then held up her hand in midair and dropped three packets of honey on the counter. I gathered the honey and the hot cup putting a lid on it. Then I grabbed a cardboard sleeve and slid the cup into it. I bit my tongue about her service because I didn't want to leave Ji Yong waiting any longer for his tea. So I began to hurry back to the dressing room . It seemed that the rude employee had gotten one last laugh at my exspense though. The contents of the cup were so crazy hot that I had to set the cup down on a ledge to give my burning hands some relief. I grabbed my cell out of my pocket and texted Ji Yong."On my way. Sorry it's taking so long. You're tea is really hot I can barely hold it. :-)"
I just had to turn left and get down the next hallway and then take a right if I remebered correctly. All thease damn hallways looked alike. I hoped I was going the right way.
"Yes, he had the nerve to disrespect me! Can you believe that? I mean after all I've done for him."
Following the voice I made my way around the corner to see none other than Kiko Mizuhara standing there dressed impecabily ranting into her cell phone.
"I know right? Can you even believe after all that they wouldn't even let me backstage to see him? I mean to actually insist I stay out here with his fans like some fangirl?!"
I raised an eyebrow as she actually stomped her high heeled foot to punctuate her sentence like a spoiled brat. I smiled to myself as I reliesed that she had come here made demands and Ji Yong had refused to meet with her. I definitely thought ignoring her was a better course of action for him than engaging her. She seemed to thrive on drama.
"Hold on." She placed the phone against her shoulder and gave me a nasty look. "What the hell are you looking at?" She snarled proving my point.
I shrugged and went to move past her switching the hot tea to my other hand. I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of stirring me up either. So I ignored her and kept walking. Making it down the corridor I turned right. Relief filled me when I was finally back infront of the dressing room. I greatly anticipated being able to set this cup of lava tea down. Then I heard loud heels stomping around the corner as I raised my hand to knock.
