My heart thundered inside my chest as I slowly deliberately  breathed in the cool night air. I watched the warehouse from across the way. Fabian and his armed men had entered the building some time ago. My thumb trembled as it hovered over the detonation switch. Why was I even hesitating now? He was inside, I could end all of this now just by pressing this one button.  I listened, motionless  for the slightest sound when I heard another vehicle pull up.  A yellow Camaro parked behind the other vehicles and a tall muscular man stepped out then slammed his car door shut. I held my breath as he pulled out his cell phone and scrolled through it as he jogged towards the building. Liam Oshea was unmistakable even in the unlit night.  My heart sank as I saw his form vanish from sight through the doorway. In such a short time, right after shooting Jiyong he was free out on bail. Fabian's money made life so damn unfair! Liam would never see jail time for what he had done, him being free now confirmed that fact. Fabian would buy his freedom easily. How would Jiyong ever be safe?Anger consumed me as my finger stopped trembling over the detonation button.
Everything was still except for a light cool wind that started to blow. "Game over." I said as I pushed down on the red button. I braced myself for the explosion, but nothing happened just quiet and that cool breeze. Slowly, I stood as I held the still depressed detonation button and stared at the building in disbelief. Shit! Had I done this wrong? It's not like I was an expert on bombs or anything. The ones inside were the first ones that I had ever built.  I had done the research by reading several books and various sites on the internet. At first I was admittedly  surprised at how easily it was for anyone to obtain the information to build a bomb. According to the books and sites everything you needed to do so could easily be purchased in a hardware store. I had followed the instructions to the letter and now it was all a bust. So much for building a bomb without professional experiance. I moved from behind the dumpster and let the detonation switch drop from my hand with a thunk as it hit the ground.  The sudden sound of the explosion was deafening , the shock-wave took me by surprise throwing me back off my feet. I shielded my eyes from the dirt and debris as I coughed trying to look back at the burning building. Putting my hand on the rocky ground I slowly pushed myself up and back into a standing position. I dusted my hands off on my jeans as I stared at the building and listened for any sound.  All I heard was burning and crashing coming from the building as I noticed a fatal flaw in my entire plan. While I knew that the bombs had gone off and that the building had blown up, how would I know if that was the end of Fabian? I bit my lip as I walked a little closer. What should I do? I couldn't just walk inside and check, the entire building was on fire.  Rubbing my arms I hugged myself while I began to pace pushing my disheveled hair back from my face.

That is when I heard the low voice behind me that dripped with venom, "You fucking bitch."

Goosebumps broke out all over my skin as  I reached for the gun I had purchased in my holster. I heard the gravel crunch underneath his feet has he advanced and I turned pulling the gun on him. He stopped short some distance away his eyes like a foreboding storm glaring at me.  My arms were outstretched clutching the revolver in both hands as I pointed it as his center mass. He had a gun pointed at me too and it was much bigger then mine glinting maliciously in the moonlight. Having a gun held on me was terrifying.

"Put the fucking gun down Judith." He said in  a low tone as he slowly took a calculated step towards me.

"Don't come any closer!" I cried out my entire body trembling with fear. I focused all of my energy trying to keep the revolver trained on him and trying to stop myself from turning to run. If I did that he would almost surely put a bullet in my back.

He stopped but a dark chuckle emitted from him as he watched me his gun unwavering. "I'm really surprised at you, I really didn't think you had the nerve. First you try to blow me up and now you pull a gun on me?" The corner of his lip kicked up into his signature smirk. "What are you gonna do Judith? Shoot me? Or stand there all day trembling like a leaf?"
