Y'vania's POV

Charlie? What's going on with Nisha?
How did she know Charles Miller to that extent?

"Nisha what's going on?"

I find myself asking as I struggle to stand up. Connor gets up and stands in front of his father, shielding him from my sister and holds her arms as she struggles to free herself. She speaks up in gasps. She is really angry. She struggles with breathing and speech when she's extremely angry.

"What's going on is.. is that I.. I.. warn..warned this.. this man to...to.. stay a.. away from..you. I warned you Miller!"

Man, I am really confused.

"Can someone explain to me what's going on?"

I ask again as I manage to stand up, leaning forward on the crutches.

"Look, Nisha. We only came to mend things up. We'll be out before you know it. Dad please let's go."

Connor speaks up as Nisha manages to free herself. Charles Miller nods quickly and stands up looking scared.

"Hey! Not so fast. I need an explanation."

I shout gaining everyone's attention. Nisha walks out slamming the door and Charles Miller follows him out quickly.

"Connor, what's happening?"

"I.. um it's okay I have to go. See that nothing bad happens to them."

"You what? Nothing bad. Why?"

I ask mostly to myself as Connor opens the door and runs out, following them.

I find them talking quietly outside. Sam, Mariah and Elio are sitting at the far end in the gazebo not aware of the drama that's unfolding. Connor is standing near their car I think he's giving them space. I stand just outside the door out of their view but I can clearly hear everything they're saying.

"Nisha I can't break my promise. I came here only because I want to make things right."

"How can I trust you Charlie? You've broken so many promises between us."

"The next step was going to your mother. I have to make things right. This war has to end. I am ready to face the consequences."

"What do you mean? You want to go to jail?"

"If it comes to that I won't have any other choice darling."

Darling?

"If that's what you feel like doing. I won't stop you."

"Do you miss me Nisha? Do you miss us? Did you really love me?"

What?

"You know I miss you Charlie but with everything going on it's too hard for me. I love you but I can't keep doing this."

"You what?"

I speak up loud enough, blowing my cover. They both turn towards me in shock. Nisha stares at me apologetically, coming towards me. I turn and open the door getting inside. I bump into Daniel who holds me, protecting me from falling.

"Take me inside. Please babe."

I speak up, letting go of the crutches.

"Are you okay? What happened?"
He asks carrying me to the elevator.

"Y'vania please I can explain!"

Nisha pleads as the elevator doors open. Daniel stops and turns, looking at me then Nisha.
