Y'vania's POV

I remain glued to the door my eyes wide in shock and my jaw almost touching the ground. I can't believe what I am seeing in front of me. If this is a dream then I am hoping it doesn't come to an end. Elio is holding onto my legs and pulling himself up. He's following me around ever since we got out of bed. He has taken the habit of crying at night until I take him to my room.

"Okay are you going to let us in?"

"I..oh of course come in."

I reply wondering how they found my house until I see her smiling face as she pays the cab driver and pulls her suitcase behind her.
And here I was thinking that she didn't want anything to do with me.
Aren't mothers the most delicious creatures on earth?

I am about to say something when she engulfs me into one of her bone crushing hugs and picks Elio up. Everyone is busy talking about how adorable my baby is and trying to get him to laugh or smile but even Elio is confused. He keeps on looking at each of them having no idea what's happening.

Five minutes pass,

Ten go by and finally fifteen and I haven't spoken a word, just staring at the three people I really missed and thought I'd never see again.

Javier seems to be the only one who isn't dumbfounded by the turn out of events. He plays the perfect host and serves them drinks.

"Seriously? Are you going to stand there and not say a word to us? Then I'll make a memory out of it."

Jake says taking out his phone snapping a photo. Matt and Lilly start whisper arguing over the remote control on the table.

These people look like a couple that has been married for fourty years..I'm just wondering why some things and people are so perfect.

Something flashes and I realize Jake is still taking photos. I turn my gaze on him giving him a glare. He places the phone on the table and rises his arms in surrender. Elio is so confused about the strangers and he starts crying, reaching out to Daniel who is closer to my mother at the moment.

"Feel at home guys."

Daniel says in a boring tone, taking Elio and going to the kitchen. I know he's isn't that much into these three and I can tell he's so much bored.

Daniel has changed a lot. Ever since the day we fought about me getting back together with Anthony he has been acting like he owns me and Elio. He takes me to places and picks me up like a teenager under curfew. He is so overprotective and has been spending a lot of nights in my room. At night he holds on to me as if I'll escape. He showers me with love, flowers, expensive gifts and vacations with the excuse of trying to cheer me up. Good thing Tessa isn't around. She is busy with internship and only comes home on weekends.

Daniel treats me like a queen, like his real wife. He's even buying me sexy lingerie and expecting me to dress up and smell nice for him when he comes back home. I don't know what's happening to me but I find myself loving the comfort and his warmth. Every time he comes to bed I am ready to serve him as the devoted 'wife' and the two of us are easily falling into a pattern that I didn't expect I'd be falling into.

Eventually Javier found out about us but he did not look surprised. He said that it was bound to happen and he was hoping that it does but we should be careful around Tessa. Javier is always the easy going one and not the one to quickly judge.

When Daniel locked himself up in his room that day I gave him his space. He talked to Tessa for a while then Tessa left. I felt guilty for causing him so much pain. When he didn't come out for dinner I was worried sick.
