Wedding Bliss 2

Daniel's POV

"I join you in marriage in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. You may now kiss the bride."

She is suddenly blushing as I get closer and cup her face. I take the hand fan from Lilly and shield our faces as I kiss her. She manages a giggle then kisses me back passionately.
She looks at me like the way she did when we shared our first kiss, her eyes are full of love and want. Our first kiss was something that I will never forget.
She was so shy she couldn't even look at me afterwards. We were in Sophomore year and she had stayed back and watched the game we played against st. Martins. I scored many times that day because my lucky charm was there. We won the game and I didn't join my friends for celebrations. I asked if I could walk her home and she said I didn't need to bother but I didn't listen. I followed her, held her hand just outside the school entrance and pulled her against my chest. Our eyes met and the look melted my heart. Without thinking twice, I kissed her soft lips puling her impossibly closer to me. It was a brief kiss but it ignited fireworks in me. She bit her lower lip and stared at the ground with a smile on her face. She then waved goodbye and walked away with quick steps. I knew she was still smiling. I couldn't stop smiling too.

I got into my car and drove home with a smile and the first person I saw at home was my grandpa. He lived with us in his final days and they were happy days for the Harrington family. I remember hugging him and telling him all about Y'vania. I told him she was going to be my wife one day. He must be smiling from heaven right now.

Everyone looks happy everyone is cheering as we get out of the church into the warm summer air.

My father approaches us first. My mother is holding baby M.J who is busy sucking on her pacifier and when she notices her mother, she starts fussing around.

"Congratulations Mr and Mrs Harrington."

My father says with a wide smile on his face, hugging both of us at once. My mother joins in the hug and soon the whole family is there to congratulate us; Mia, Nisha, Raquel, the whole Quezada family and even Kara, her husband, their daughter and her mother.

"I think I need to nurse the baby first and maybe pump a little before heading to the reception."

Y'vania whispers as she takes baby M.J from my mother. I call out for the nannies. We have two nannies now. Jenny is Nina's assistant. Nina mainly focuses on the kids now while Jenny is in charge of cleaning their rooms, clothes and putting everything in order especially for Elio who manages to scatter his toys everywhere including the kitchen. Jenny makes sure Alice doesn't go through a hard time picking toys while cleaning the house.

Nina takes Elio to daycare and picks him up in the afternoon, she walks the baby to the park, takes Elio to playdates or out shopping. Her whole life revolves around Elio and M.J now.

Y'vania resumed work when M.J turned 3 months old. She went in with M.J and Nina to Hollywood and they came back during the weekends. It's a thirty minutes drive from Wilshire to Hollywood but due to the working hours they opted to sleep in a hotel to reduce all the back and forth with the baby. Up to the wedding it was mostly me and Elio in the house. Javier moved in with Jeff and they are engaged. Nisha stays at campus most of the time she comes in on weekends too. Y'vania multitasked on being on set and planning the wedding. She got an assistant, a young lady named Keira and we hired a wedding planner but my mother and Raquel also took part in planning.

We head back home for a while as everyone heads to the reception venue. I need to change Elio's shirt because he poured grape juice on the one he's wearing. Y'vania hasn't noticed it yet and Elio and I are doing our best to hide it from her. Elio himself made me promise we wouldn't let his ma know or she will be mad at him. I understand my little man, sometimes we mess up a little, the wife doesn't need to know.
