WHEN DADDY LEFT

out of town?

Y'vania's POV

"Mom,Nisha,Mia,Y'vania. Am hooome!"
Lilly shouts getting in and going straight to the kitchen. She is very noisy and yes that's why we're friends she shouts the house alive just like me. She's more than a sister to all of us and a daughter to mummy.

She's the closest friend; of course there's Matthew Cryer who also happens to be Lilly's boyfriend and Jake Rueda who almost became my boyfriend at some point in life. He is someone who most people mistake for my boyfriend. He had a huge crush on me since eighth grade but I never reciprocated the feelings. Being friends is better.

I follow her into the kitchen and find her talking to my mum.
"How's your mum Lily?"
Mummy asks going into the kitchen.
"Very fine she said hey to you."
Mia comes out of her room still looking sleepy.

"You people can't let someone sleep you're always noisy."

"You can sleep peacefully at your boyfriend's house young woman."
Lilly responds coming out of the kitchen carrying a full plate of food.

"Where does all the food you eat go to?"
Mia asks sitting next to her, takes the fork from her and starts eating. Mum brings in another fork and gives it to Lilly.

"You're finishing off my food Mia! You've been around a lot, go to your boyfriend I am sure he misses you."

Lilly says leaving with her plate and sitting somewhere else.

Mia smiles lightly, a blush rising on her face.
"He's out of town and I am already missing him."

She says quietly.

"You barely touched your food Y'vania. You packed it in a Tupperware and stored it in the fridge."

How did she find out? Does she inspect the fridge?

I grab an apple trying to find a response to that. I couldn't eat due to the pain in my gums. As I was brushing my teeth this morning my gums started bleeding. I know it's one of the signs for my condition. My platelets count is also low. It's causing me discomfort.

"Let's go shopping."

I say then bite a huge portion of my apple. Trying hard not to wince from the pain. I have to be brave if I don't want them to notice.
"Excellent idea cariño. I love shopping."
Lilly says hugging me. Everyone agrees to it.
" Um.. it's just a suggestion I didn't mean-"
"Great! Nice idea we're going shopping."

Mia says bubbly.

Oh what? Am I this dumb? What did I say?
That's what we call NAILED Y'vania.
Okay. I hope what I am hoping for does not happen.

"Okay. What are we waiting for? Let's go."
I say walking to the door.
"No! I mean what are you wearing? We're going to the mall honey. MALL."

Lilly says.

Wow I'm still in my pajamas.

"Oh no I totally forgot."
"It's because sleep is your BFF."
Lilly says laughing at me.
"I am just resting before starting the very tiresome college life."
I say defending myself and walking to my room to shower and change.

Lilly's POV

I am shopaholic I can't deny it but Mia is more than what I am. We've been here for five hours now and I don't think we're getting out of here soon.

It's like she wants to buy everything she falls in love with either for her or any of us. She is even suggesting we buy a feeding bottle for Nisha because she looks like a baby and a pink teddy bear for Y'vania because she's a cute little girl.
They were about to start a word fight when I stopped them as we're in a public place.
My cute friend is very very tired and I can tell it. She's doing all this because she wants to have fun.
Oh she looks way more cute when bored. Tanisha seems to be having a lot of fun and it's because she gets to eat whatever she wants and get all the cute clothes she wants. She is practically skipping around and jumping for joy. Mia likes spending money on her baby sisters(hey I am included here).
