Full Moon

He stirred beneath the full moon
and whispered to the universe,
"Why?

Why do you keep testing me?
I'm exhausted.
I'm tired of the questions,
tired of the silence,
tired of wondering
what all of this is supposed to mean.

Yet somehow,
I still see the signs.
I still feel the synchronicity,
those strange little moments
that seem to find me
when I've finally decided to let go.

I told you I was ready to pull up again,
ready to step back into the unknown,
and then she appeared.

Again.

I can't shake her
from my mind,
from my thoughts,
from that quiet place inside my heart
where some people simply refuse to leave.

And damn...
I'm grateful for her flaws.

They're beautiful
because they're hers.

She isn't perfect.
I never needed her to be.

I wasn't searching for perfection.
I was searching for something genuine.
Something honest.
Something real.

Real love.

The kind that doesn't pretend
two imperfect people
have all the answers.

I don't know what you have in store for us, Universe.
Maybe that's the lesson.

Maybe love isn't supposed to come
with a map.

But I've learned something
through all these quiet nights:

You don't find the same person twice.

And somehow,
through all the uncertainty,
through the distance,
through the unanswered questions,
I still know one thing.

She is worth the wait.

Worth the uncertainty.
Worth the silence.
Worth every night I've spent
looking up at the stars
wondering if they know something
I don't.

Because no matter how far the night stretches,
she never really leaves.

Not my mind.
Not my heart.

And beneath this full moon,
I finally stopped asking
why the universe keeps testing me.

Maybe it isn't testing me at all.

Maybe it's teaching me
that some things worth having
aren't meant to be understood immediately.

Maybe they're meant to be felt.

And she...

I've felt her
all along.
