Listen to the song on the side while you read to get the overall feel! I just saw the music video and it kind of relates to Reign and Tobias in a way. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this chapter and thanks for 100K reads!

"Don't you quit now," I sobbed, smoothing Tobias's hair. "You're a fighter. Keep fighting."

I saw his eyes flutter under his eyelids, but they didn't open. Julian was in the front seat of Tobias's Range Rover, speeding like a lunatic. Tobias's head was perched up on my lap in the backseat, his body limp and beginning to turn cold. Julian told me that talking to Tobias could help keep him conscious, but it wasn't working. I was angry at myself for that. I stood there like a scared little girl while his father injected him with god knows what. I was too frightened to stick up for him or for myself. I guess seeing Tobias scared for the first time in my life really shook me up. I looked outside the window and saw Julian approaching a hospital. I immediately began to panic.

"Julian! Where the hell are you going? He can't go to a hospital!" I yelled, slowly feeling like I was beginning to lose grip of everything. "He's a professional boxer who has some drugs running through his system. Let's not forget the tattered skin around his knuckles. They're going to tear him apart for fighting on the street!"

Julian looked at me through the rear side mirror. "Reign, I don't know what he has in his system. I need to admit him."

Angry, hot tears ran down my face. "Why did I call you then? I could've called the ambulance myself!"

I looked down at Tobias's angelic face and I could see pain scrunched all over it. A sobbed trapped in my throat escaped as I kissed him face roughly.

"Please Julian," I cried, looking back up at him. "Please."

Julian looked defeated as he made a sharp u-turn. I could feel myself slowly regain some comfort, but I was still on the edge of my seat. I just hoped I made the right choice in not taking Tobias to the hospital.

"Try. Try to remember something, anything!" Julian argued, taking out multiple small glass bottles with medicine in it along with a couple of needles.

Tobias was laying on Julian's bed. I didn't argue with him when we pulled up to his condo. He probably had all the medical supplies we need, or at least most of them. We were on either side of the bed, running around frantically as we searched for the things Julian needed.

"I don't remember! It could've been a milky substance or clear-"

Julian filled a needle up with a drug before scowling at me. "That could be anything."

He sighed as he paced around his room, running a free hand through his face. I could see how stressed he looked and I realized what position I put him in. He could get in some real big trouble for helping me out.

"This should wake him up," he said, holding the needle in front of my face. "But it could also make things worse. It's your call."

I looked down at Tobias, watching as sweat began to pool around his face. He was just ice cold fifteen minutes ago and now he's sweating bullets. I dabbed a towel on his forehead, eliminating some of the sweat. I wanted things to go back to the way they were. I wanted to go back to the first night I ever saw him and start things right. But I couldn't. It was too late now.
