Chapter 5 - 1 Million Subs

So I was finally released from my room I got my little camera and said "well I've just been released lets go see what they have done" bearing in mind I was stuck in my room for nearly an hour I walked out to see loads of my youtube friends such as Chris, PJ, Jack, Dean, Marcus, the Suggs (Zoe & Joe), Jim, Tanya, Caspar, Oli, Louise, Felix, Marzia and Alfie so basically all the Youtubers who lived in the Uk and also my family I was so happy to see everyone I said "I don't know what's going on but it's amazing to see everyone here thank you so much" Phil said "Phoebe their here because you are now part of the BBC crew also you hit 1,000,000 subs!!" did I just hear Phil correctly 1millon subscribers? I pulled out my phone and told Phil to hold my camera I looked at the screen it said "PhoebeBee 1,000,000 Subscribers" I was gob smacked Dan said "right time to party!!" I'm not going into too much detail on what happened it ended up most of the male youtubers got drunk and was trying to see who was the strongest yeah... that didn't end well let's just say Joe picked Caspar up and started running laps of the apartment before they thudded to the ground. It was the next day mine and Phil's parents were heading back to Rawtenstall, Lancashire I think we were both going to miss them since we hardly see them apart from special occasions or if we really have to, everyone else headed home about midnight only a few stayed like Joe, Caspar, Chris, Pj and Oli they slept either on the floor or on the sofa bed but hey that is what the aftermath of a celebration is all about.

It was Monday 27th April and it was my first ever radio broadcast tonight I've never been so excited but nervous in my life, both Dan and Phil have been giving me tips and a few tricks to help me only 13hrs to go before I had to be at the BBC and the funny thing was I was still in bed. I grabbed my phone and put my top 40 playlist on so there was a range of songs that I could use and that would get me out of bed, so I finally got up since Oh My Love started playing and it's one of those songs that you want to sing and dance to so I did I plugged my phone into my Panda speaker and blasted it I moved out of bed and started singing then it got to the chorus I shouted "Oh, MY LOVE let me be your fire We're a thousand miles up and 'bout to get higher Feel my heart beating out my chest You're the only prayer I need To make me feel blessed, Singing Oh ooh oh ooh!!" I heard Dan shout "I'm trying to get some beauty sleep!!" I laughed and turned it down a touch, I got changed into a black shirt that said "Cat Whiskers Come From Within" yes it was part of Dan and Phil's merch but I wanted one so I begged Phil to get me one so he did, anyway I then found my white skinny jeans I looked at my phone 12 hours to go I was nervous as hell this time tonight I would be live to world and that was scary to think. I headed to the lounge where for some reason sat on the sofa in his browsing position I said "Phil it's five past eight what the flipping hell you doing up?" he said "well I'm waiting for Dan to get up since we need to film and you need to be part of it, by the way nice shirt" I smiled I knew he was being sarcastic I said "okay then and thanks I think it suits me better" and at that I skipped to the kitchen where I made Nutella on toast mine and Phil's favourite breakfast.

Dan was finally up and having breakfast so that gave me and Phil chance to set up the lights and check how much battery life was on the camera, we heard the clanging of the bowl and spoon so we knew Dan had his breakfast he walked passed in his Skyrim shirt and some joggers also he had hobbit hair I said "Dan you got 10mins to get changed and sorted otherwise we are doing the video without you!!" he shouted "NOoooo!" we heard him run to his room I just laughed since we needed him, a few moments passed and Dan walked in with his signature shirt which was a black t-shirt with the white ring and then some black skinny jeans he sat down and I got the camera off charge and placed it on the tripod and setting it to the right angle I sat down then Phil came in with drinks he said "one green tea for Daniel" and handed the pixels mug to him then Phil said "tea white 2 sugars for Phoebe" he passed me a Hogwarts mug which I had now clamed and the he said "and a coffee for me" and he had the cat whiskers mug, we all took a sip of our drinks and began to film. About halfway through Dan said "hang on I need to get something" he got up and then returned with a square shape item covered in white with the youtube play button wrapping paper I was a bit confused but I didn't question he sat back down and said "Happy 1 million subs PhoebeBee!" he handed me the present and I could tell Phil was containing his excitement I opened it to see a picture of a camera I said "no way Nikon D5000!! Thank You soooo much" then I hugged both of them I said "oh quick announcement I'm going to be on Radio 1 tonight for internet takeover!!" then Phil pressed the clip on my laptop and it said "PhoebeBee On BBC Radio 1, She escaped from the internet and climbed into your ears" it sounded so cool anyway we ended the video and I got straight on to setting the camera up and figuring all the buttons.

It was 7:30pm I didn't really do much I think I slept most of the day anyway I grabbed my jacket hugged both Dan and Phil goodbye Phil said "you'll smash it Bee" I smiled and then Dan said "We'll be listening" I smiled again then I left. I made it to the studio I saw the clock start to count down then the producer Sally gave me the nod so I pressed a button and that said 'Internet Takeover' adrenaline started to kick in I couldn't believe in less than 10seconds I would be speaking to the world.
