Chapter 19 - The Hoodie Thief & Vidcon Day 2

I was woken up by my phone, I could hear Dan and Phil through the walls, I heard Phil say "the chocolate monster has been again" I giggled then Dan said "Phil have you seen my grey YouTube hoodie?" he said "no I don't think so" I heard footsteps so I dove under my duvet I heard the door open Dan said "Doesn't matter Phil I've found the hoodie and the chocolate monster too" he said "let me guess Phoebe?" he said "yeh, we really need to learn to lock that door and Phoebe I know you are awake I heard your alarm go off" I sighed "dang it sorry I took your hoodie I was cold last night" I said louder so Phil could hear me "Sorry Phil about your chocolate and you had to pick Dairy Milk out of all the chocolates" he said "it's okay Bee I forgive you for now" I finally got up yawned and fell back onto my bed. I was the worst person to get out of bed in the morning, I'm not a morning person!

I somehow managed to get dressed and head down to the restaurant so I could have some breakfast, I walked in to see everyone still sleepy to be honest I didn't blame them we did have a party till the early morning. I got a pile of pancakes and some orange juice to see if it wakes me up I was looking for a table when Hannah waved and shouted "Phoebe over here!" I saw her sat with Grace and Mamrie they said "come join us we don't bite" I laughed and sat down Grace asked "so Phoebe what are you doing today?" I said pulling out my phone "um I've got a Q&A, a Meet & Greet and an interview with Hollywire" locked my phone and began to devour the pancakes Mamrie asked "how you finding your first Vidcon?" I said "to be honest it was never what I imagined it to be" Hannah said "what's your favourite part even though it's the second day?" I mentally said "oh you know just Dan asking me to be his girlfriend" Mamrie said "so what's is your favourite part?" I said "oh urm meeting my subscribers I guess oh and meeting everyone else too"

I looked at my phone and the time read 9:15 crap! I was going to be late for my Q&A I said "girls I've got to dash I'm due on the main stage for my Viewer to Creator Q&A" they said "it's fine go enjoy the rest of your day" I said "thanks for understanding" I ran back to my hotel room grabbing my Vidcon pass and a few other things then began to sprint to the convention centre. I kept running until I was backstage but as soon as I got there they said "Phoebe Lester to stage" I sorted myself out and headed on I said "hi guys, sorry I'm a bit late I was having breakfast with Hannah Hart, Mamrie Hart and Grace Helbig" they screamed said "alright let's get on with this Q&A!" I sat down and the questions began. Someone asked "Did I see you hugging Dan in Alfie's vlog yesterday?" I said "well I was heading out of the party and I tripped over lucky Dan was there and saved me from hitting the marble flooring" she said "oh okay I do ship you and Dan by the way" I heard some of the crowd agree, I felt my face start to blush I said "anyway next question!" a girl on the front row asked "what is it like living with Dan and Phil" I said "it's kind of like living with brothers but if they lose something the house turns into an obstacle course" I heard laugher so I continued "I'm serious Phil lost lion and he basically turned into the hulk and went on a rage around the apartment" everyone couldn't stop laughing I guess they were imagining Phil as the Incredible Hulk.

My Q&A was finally over it was quite nice to spend time with my viewers, I was currently sat in the green room which was completely empty except for me, Troye walked in and said "do you want to discuss what that bracelet is actually for then?" I said "ugh fine, you already knew it wasn't a year of me living in London, it's in fact a present from him as we are together" he sat next to me and said "aww that's so sweet" he hugged me and said "congrats" I thanked him and he said "I would love to talk more but I've got to perform" he started to leave I said "Troye!" he turned around and asked "what?" I said "break a leg" he smiled and walked out of the green room leaving me alone once again.

It was almost time for my Meet & Greet I knew I wouldn't be alone since they normally do it in groups, I stood behind the curtain that was the only thing between me and the fans. I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around to see Dan, Phil, Zoe and Alfie I asked "what are you doing here?" Alfie said "well you're not doing your Meet & Greet alone so we were scheduled to do it with you" we walked out and a wave of screams hit us, it was defining but an amazing feeling. We all lined up and it went Alfie, Zoe, me, Dan and then Phil, we grabbed our sharpies and once we were all ready the security opened the gates and the views started to make their way down to us. I was nervous but the atmosphere of everyone cheering and chatting made me feel better. I met a girl who said "Phoebe I love your videos and they have helped me to get through a lot thank you so much" I signed some of her stuff and I noticed she had a bandana on her wrist covering something as we went to hug I whispered "stay strong you can get through it" she said almost crying "thank you Phoebe" as pulled away Dan instantly knew and pulled her into a hug. It was the last person and she was also called Phoebe she said "hey Phoebe, I'm called Phoebe too" I laughed and said "what a coincidence" she said "could you sign my Vidcon badge and my phone case please" I said "sure I can" she handed it to me and I signed them. I handed then back and I suggested "should we take some selfies?" she said "omg yes if you don't mind" I smiled "not a problem" we took some between us then we asked Zoe, Alfie, Dan and Phil to join us.

I was almost done with my day I had an interview with HollyWire then that was me done, I said goodbye to everyone and made my way to the Expo hall where the HollyWire booth was set up this meant I had to go through the main doors where all the viewers go whilst escorted by security we were heading down the escalator I was walking off at the bottom when I heard someone say "omg Phoebe can I please have a quick picture" I said "sure" we took a few selfies and then I gave her a quick hug, I headed into the Expo hall it was really busy everywhere you looked there were a bunch of people. I had finally made it I got mic clipped to my shirt and I took a seat, the interviewer was called Clare she said "Welcome To HollyWire Vidcon edition where I am now joined by Phoebe Lester aka PhoebeBee!" some people cheered I guess they knew who I was. Clare asked me "so Phoebe how is the Us?" I said "it's awesome, I have been to Florida before but never flew all this way to Anaheim" the interview continued like that talking about funny memories with Dan and Phil, what the Uk does differently to the US, even we talked about the weather! The interview was coming to a close because Clare said "right we have one more question for you Phoebe, where do you see yourself in a few years' time?" I said "well hopefully still doing YouTube and have the opportunity to come back here to this amazing event but in all honestly I'm not really sure I try to focus on what is happening now not in the future because anything could happen" she nodded and said "well that was the HollyWire Vidcon edition interview with Phoebe Lester" it was finally over I thanked her and then I took the mic off and got escorted back to the hotel. I thanked the security for their help and headed to my room all I wanted now was food and a sleep it was so hard trying to adjust to the American time zone I mean it was 4:23pm here and in the Uk its 12:23am so basically it had just gone past midnight Great! I knew when we got back home we would all be hit badly with jet lag just the joys of travelling.
