Emma's POV

"Henry!! Come one your gonna be late for school!" I shout all over the house. My 12 year old son stomps out of his room and throws himself on a stool at the kitchen's island. "Morning sleepyhead" I said smiling. "I hate Mondays." He said groaning. "Well I have work today so sorry kid no lie ins" I said as I flipped our pancakes. I serve them on a plate and pour out the hot milk for our hot chocolate. "Here you go" I say as I set the plate down in front of him. "Thanks mom" Henry say. I set our hot chocolates on the island along with the cinnamon shaker. We both put cinnamon on our chocolates and start to eat.

When we were done I sent Henry to get changed and I too got dressed. I wore my dark blue skinny jeans and white tank top. I put on my boots and slipped on my red leather jacket. I curled my long blonde hair and clipped some bits in to keep out of my face. When I ran downstairs Henry was already sitting waiting for me. "Okay, you got everything?" I ask. "Yup, now let's go!" Henry says walking towards the door. I grabbed my keys and my phone and threw them in my bag and headed out the door. We jumped into my yellow bug and I started the car.

"So, what are you doing in school today?" I ask Henry trying to start a conversation. "Umm, we have art class which is fun" Henry said smiling. "You do love art don't you" I said laughing. "Yep, my teacher says I'm one of the bests in the class" Henry says as his smile gets bigger. I stop outside the school and kiss him on the cheek. "Have a good day Henry, I'll see you later" I say out the window. "You too mom!" He replies. I start the car again and drive to my bakery.

I run a successful bakery called 'whipped dreams'. Its an extremely busy job but I love doing it. I stop outside and turn off my bugs engine. I grab my bag and unlock the bakery's door. I open the curtains at the windows and walk into the pantry. I turn on all the ovens and start setting out some buns and cakes in the display cabinets. I hear the door bell jingle and in walks Mary Margret. "Hey Emma! I see you came early today" Mary says. "I always come in early on a Monday, to set up the displays and stuff." I say laughing. "Hmm I know I was just messing" she says as she takes off her coat. We both put on our aprons and I turn the closed sign to open.

The morning was pretty busy, people walking in the get their lunches for work and breakfasts for their kids. Some birthday cake orders were made and wedding cakes too. "Thank goodness its 1pm." I say sitting down. Usually at 1pm its the calmest hour as everyone usually has started work or they have already came in for lunch.

The door bell jingles and I stand up "Hey, what can I get you?"
