Chapter 31: After all we've been through?

This... Shall be Kenth...

Reader's POV

It has been going great ever since the talk Kid and I had about two weeks ago. Kid and I were walking through the school, heading to class, holding hands. "(Y/N)!" I heard a voice say. I turned to see Kenth running towards me. Kenth is a boy in our class that I met last week and Kid doesn't like him because, apparently, he is 'always flirting with me'. "Hey there, little miss." Kenth said, stepping in between Kid and I, breaking our hands apart. Kenth slung his arm around me and used the hand on that arm to twirl my hair. I laughed. "Hey there, little mister." I replied. Kid was fuming as he pushed Kenth away and took his spot next to me again. He glared at Kenth as I elbowed him in the stomach. Kenth snickered and I punched him in the arm which gave me a turn to laugh. When we got to class, we sat down but, instead of going to his usual seat, Kenth came on the other side of me so I was in between him and Kid. Throughout the class, Kid and Kenth would glare at me and Kid would reach over and hit Kenth in the back of the head when Kenth would 'flirt' with me. After class was over, the three of us walked out of the school. "Hey, I have to go but I'll text you later." Kenth said with a wink. "Okay bye, Kenth." I gave him a hug and he ran off. Kid, immediately, wrapped his arms around me from behind and buried his face in the crook of my neck. "I love you!" He said into my neck. I shivered. "I love you too but what is your deal?" I asked. "Nothing, why?" He replied. "There is something wrong now tell me. No lies." I said as I stopped walking and gently pushed him off so I could see his face. He was frowning. "Kenth won't leave you alone and he keeps trying to push me away from you." Kid replied. "First of all, stop being so jealous and second, I never asked him to leave me alone. He is just a friend I would never let him 'steal me away from you'." I said and giggled. "I don't think this is funny. This is how it all starts. You say you would never let him take you away until he actually does and I'm out and sitting at home while you guys are out on dates." Kid said, slowly raising his voice. Tears came to my eyes. No. (Y/N), you are not going to cry again. I'm tired of you being a weak little baby. If this is how he wants it to be, so be it. I thought as I filled with anger. "If you really loved me, you would want me to be happy. No matter what it takes. But, I guess not." I said, blinking away the tears that came to my eyes. "I-" Kid started. "After all we've been through? No. Don't even try to make me think 'you are right' or 'you will tell me so soon'. I'm done. If you want to be this way then we are through." I said and stormed off. I headed to the mansion. When I got there I stormed inside and completely ignored Liz and Patty who tried to greet me. I didn't mean to be rude I just wanted to get out of there before Kid made it home. I stormed upstairs and packed up my stuff. I headed downstairs and was stopped by Liz and looked over her shoulder to see Kid who was struggling against Patty's grip. "I don't know what happened but you two are going to make up." Liz said. "Oh hell no. He seems to be better off without someone to treat like his bitch who has to stay with him. He might learn a lesson." I replied and pushed passed Liz and out the door. I didn't know where to go. I was done with my parents. Kid taught me that I don't have to keep going back to them, especially because of the way the treated me. My phone vibrated and I took it out out of my pocket to see that I got a text message:

Kenth: Hey, how are you? Did Kid give you any rough time?

(Y/N): How did you guess? We broke up about 30 minutes ago.

Kenth: Oh, I'm sorry. What happened?

(Y/N): Just a stupid argument. But, it doesn't matter because I'm done with him... WHO AM I KIDDING!?!? I MISS HIM SO MUCH ALREADY AND ITS ONLY BEEN TEN MINUTES SINCE I LAST SAW HIM!!!

Kenth: Calm down it will be okay. Didn't you live with him? Where are you gonna go now?

(Y/N): I don't know. I didn't think about that...

Kenth: Come and stay at my place. My partner will be with his family for the next few weeks so we have the place to ourselves. Just in case you want to talk.

(Y/N): Okay, thnx. I'll be there soon.

Kenth: See ya.

I put my phone away and headed to Kenth's place. When I got there, he opened the door with his arms out wide. I jumped into his arms and started crying. He carried me to the couch. I'm so fucking weak. I can't go one day without crying.
