Chapter 7

Elizabeth and Iain made there way to his house. They pulled up to a small house.
He parked the car got out to open her door for her. He unlocked the house.
"Iain your house is lovely."
"Thank you. So what movie or tv show should we watch?"
"Do you like Doctor Who?"
"Does River Song love the doctor?"
"Yes."
"There's my response. And we watched it together before."
"Your right we have."

Iain went to the fridge to get water for him and Liz. He sat down on the couch after he took his suit jacket off. Liz sat down next to him. There sat a little apart from each other.
Iain got up and went to the freezer and got a carton of mint chocolate chip ice cream and two spoons. He sat back down.
"Want some?"
"Sure."

She took the spoon from him and got closer to him. He popped the lid. He took a spoon full and put it out for Elizabeth to take a bit. She took the bit and did the same for Iain.
"I'm cold Iain."
"Okay I will get a blanket."
"Thank you."
"Welcome."
He got up and went to his bedroom and got a blanket off his bed.
"Here you go."
"Thank you."
He sat back down and she curled up next to him in the blanket. He wrapped his arm around her.

Iain phone buzzed. It was a text from Chloe.

Chloe: Hi Iain. How the date?
Iain: Hi Chloe the date is good we are at my house watch tv.
Chloe: Nice so it went well. Is she going to sleep over?
Iain: Up to her.
Chloe: Have fun but not to much fun.
Iain: Thanks Chloe I'm not going to make love to Elizabeth tonight. If that what you were hinting too.
Chloe: Well have fun Iain.

Iain put his phone down and looked to Elizabeth and she was asleep on his shoulder.
"Elizabeth wake up."
"I'm awake."
"Do you want me to drive you home? Or if you want you- you can stay the night?"
"It's late you may not want to drive."
"I will make a bed on the couch for me you get to sleep in my bed."
"Iain don't be crazy I will sleep on the couch."
"No no you get the bed."
"Iain of you do not sleep in that bed then I won't."
"How about we both sleep in the bed."
"I guess that works."

Iain got up and him and Liz walked back to his room.
Iain went to his dresser and pulled out a pair of clean boxers and a white t-shirt for him and then a pair of shorts and t-shirt of Liz.
"Liz here you can sleep in this. The bathroom is over there."
Iain slipped his clothes off and put on his sleep wear. Elizabeth came out of the bathroom.
"Thank you for the clothes."
"My pleasure. It's better then a dress to sleep in right?"
"Right."

Iain got into the bed and waited for Liz to get in and pulled the covers over them. There was space between them. Elizabeth tuned to face Iain. He just smiled at her.
"What are you smiling about?"
"You."
She kissed him on the lips.
"Good night Iain."
"Good night Elizabeth."
They drifted into a deep sleep.
