Chapter 1:

Jessica's POV:

I waited, just like all the other fans, for AVPSY to be put on YouTube. Just as usual, it was late. I kept hitting the refresh button, waiting for act 1 part 1 to show up. Finally, I saw a new video, an introduction from Nick Lang. I watched, getting even more excited about the musical.

Finally, AVPSY act 1 part 1 showed up. I squealed, got my Redvines, and clicked on the video. I took a bite of my Redvine as Evanna Lynch came on screen.

-----

By the end of AVPSY, I was bawling. It was such an amazing show! I hadn't even eaten many Redvines because I was crying so hard.

I slowly walked to my bedroom, still sobbing a little, and got my pajamas on. Suddenly, my phone started playing 'Super Friends.'

I looked at the caller ID. There was no name. The number looked somewhat familiar, but I couldn't quite place whose it was.

"Hello?"I asked once I answered the phone.

"Hey, Jessi. It's me, Nick Lang." He said.

"Oh my god! Hey! I haven't seen you since AVPM. How have you been?" I asked. I had known the Starkids before they even had an official name. We all went to college together.

"I've been good. So have the others." He said. "Anyway, I was calling to ask for a favor."

"Typical Nick. Doesn't talk to one of his best friends in almost four years, then calls to ask for a favor." I joked.

"Very funny." He said sarcastically. "If you keep it up, then I might change my mind about letting you perform with us."

"Wait, what! You want me to perform with you? No way!" I practically yelled into the phone. I heard Nick chuckle.

"Yeah. I'm assuming you watched AVPSY and saw the promo for Twisted?" He asked.

"Of course! I have never missed any of your musicals." I said.

"Well, I want you to perform in Twisted." Nick said simply.

"I would love to!" I squealed. "But how am I supposed to afford to get to Chicago. My job doesn't pay very well. As soon as my bills are paid, I hardly have any spending money."

"It's alright. We've got that covered. We just really need you." He said, then added quietly. "And we all miss you."

"I miss you guys too!" I said, feeling like I could almost cry again, thinking about all of the good times in college.

"So, you'll do it?" Nick asked.

"Yes." I agreed.

"Alright. Well, I'll have some of the gang go and pick you up." I told him my address and we agreed on a date and time. When I hung up, I practically screamed from excitement. I stayed up well past midnight, dancing to Starkid songs in my room.

I could not wait to see my friends again.
