Dear Diary,
I know. It’s been just too long. But I needed some time to let “fourteen” sink in.
Summer is here at last! We had noon dismissal on the 25th, our final day of school. It’s such a relief to be free! No longer must I go through Tyler’s bullying! His name-calling and physical abuse must subside!
I’ve got a lot of plans this summer. I know, shocking! I’m finally old enough to volunteer at the Humane Society! I’m so excited! I’m also going to Shakertown, Kentucky and Holiday World sometime. (That reminds me — I have to call Grandma to set a date for that.) I’m so excited!
I just know that this is gonna be an awesome summer!
Oh, and also, I just finished reading The Forbidden Game by L. J. Smith. It’s such an incredible book! It’s a mix of horror, romance, action, and jammed-packed with surprises! *Spoiler alert* the ending is so sad! I mean, seriously. It brought tears to my eyes. (Though I refused to cry at school.)
I’m now onto read Vampire Academy: Frost Bite by Richelle Mead — the second in her series, Vampire Academy. Let me tell you, it’s such a page-turner! I can hardly keep it out of my hands!
Well, I’m probably boring you will my book-talk.
Love,
Alison
