Dear Diary,
Have you ever just sat around and thought about your life? Have you ever weighed the good and the bad?
I have.
I did just last night. (Sorry that I never got around to telling you.) What I realized was that when it came down to it, there was more bad than good.
Yet how come the good seems so much greater than the bad?
I’d like to say that it’s just my antidepressants. But that’s just lazy and negative thinking!
The real truth is that I choose to believe in the good.
I wish that others could see what I mean — understand how I feel about this topic of life and good and bad, but then what would be the point of words?
I’d like to also give you an anagoly to what I’m describing as my life and its toils.
Think of superheroes from the comic books (i.e. Batman, Spiderman, etc.). They face several villians single-handedly — with no assisstance from any other superheroes.
Do you understand now?
Probably now. That was a rather crappedy anagoly.
Love,
Alison
