Dear Diary,
Have you ever wondered about fashion? Probably not. I mean, it’s such a low-point question.
Well, I guess you’re really questioning where I’m going with this? Hmm? Well, you see, someone’s fashion sense really gives you a first-look impression as to who they are.
My style is very simple. I prefer calm colors — blues, purples, blacks, whites, and greys. I also like red, too. My motto is, “If I can wear it with my jeans, then it’s good.” I like to wear either sneakers or flip-flops. I don’t really care for makeup (or I at least refuse to wear it in public) except for the occasional lip-gloss. I like the whole “natural” look, you could say. I don’t ever want to show too much — my swimsuit hardly shows anything. (Call it shyness or self-consiousness or whatever, but that’s me.) I like clothes that are big on me — I hate that skin-tight look. It’s soo uncomfortable.
Now onto one of some of my favorite things on this topic of “fashion”: How I express myself.
I like to wear jewelry — necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Every time I put one on, it has some symbolic purpose. I like to paint my nails ten different colors; or I’ll paint one hand, say, green, and the other hand purple. I also like it when my socks don’t match. (Don’t tell my mom, though!)
I really enjoy making fashion statements — to do things most wouldn’t. It doesn’t matter how, I still enjoy it because others will know I’m different.
I like to style my hair differently every-so-often. like one day I may be a brunette, the next a blonde. Or to streak my hair. Or to curl it. That’s a lot of fun.
Love,
Alison
