Dear Diary,
What have I done so far this summer? Mom took Sophie, Tori, and me to Kong Fu Panda 2. That was a totally epic movie! I also went to Tori’s birthday party last Saturday. That was a lot of fun, I guess.
What do I want to do this summer? Become a published author.
What am I going to do this summer? Well, I’m going to Jessica’s birthday party on the 3rd of July. That should be … interesting, considering that I don’t know anyone except Jessica and her sisters. I’m also going to Shakertown … I hope.
I’m not sure why I had decided to tell you all of this. Maybe just for when … naaah.
Oh, I almost forgot! I need to call Grandma to check on the date for Shakertown! She’s at work right now, but hopefully I’ll remember to call later on today. Hopefully.
Also — before I forget — I have come up with a new story idea! It stars a twenty-five year old mother, who had just recently divorced her husband / “baby daddy”. Her name is Dulcibella —Dulcie for short. She’s Latina, with an attractive, butsey figure. She has a heart-shaped face with a straight nose and slightly pointy chin. Even though she’s Latina, she has almond-shaped hazel eyes. She’s, maybe, around 5’5”. Sound pretty? To me she does. She works as a … umm … uh … yeaaah … I haven’t quite figured that out yet. There’s still a lot of things I haven’t figured out about Dulcie yet. It’s also a challenge for me, because I’m aiming an older, more mature audience — more specifically, single mothers. I’m worried that I’ll bungle it all up or something.
Wish me luck with Dulcibella!
I’ve also started another story called The Purest Love. It’s like an epilogue to my Riddles Saga. It’s Josh’s POV, and centered around him and Alec. It shoes the struggles of loving someone. See, Josh wants to be with Alec, but can’t because he’s her uncle. So, he goes to Melody to be reincarnated so that he can be with her. Here’s the twist: Once Josh is reincarnated into a new “Josh”, he goes searching for Alec as soon as he remembers her. He finally finds her at age five. He looks and acts and talks like a five year old, but he doesn’t think like one. The story takes off from there. You get to see all your favorite characters from the Riddles Saga, and meet new ones that you’re sure to love.
Oh, gosh! I’m probably boring you, aren’t I?
Love,
Alison
