Dear Diary,

Less than an hour to go before Jessica’s birthday party. Gosh, I’m so nervous. It’s a slumber party, and most of the people who will be there I’ve never met before. I mean, what if I don’t fit in? What if they don’t like me?

I’m being rediculous, I know. But … I’m just so dang nervous!

I’m also really excited. I haven’t seen Jess since before I got my hair cut! Which was back in … February or March. I can’t remember. (Our schedules make it really hard to see each other, surprisingly.)

I’ve got everything ready. Pillow, blanket, pajamas, clothes for tomorrow, deodorant (sp?), iPod, iPod radio (which is its charger), headphones, jewelry, and … okay, what am I forgetting? Oh, yeah. Movie! (Jessica wants us to bring a movie. Mine is Alice in Wonderland. Lame, I know.) I also put on a new nail polish, and added my super-cool glow-in-the-dark. It’s seriously awesome.
