Dear Diary,

You’re almost filled up. That sucks … means I’m gonna have to find a new book to write in …

There are a lot of different things I wanna talk about with you today. I just haven’t written in you for so long that my thoughts and events have just been piling up lately.

I really wanna start with this dream I had last night. There’s just something about it that reminds me of my “Melody” dream. You know the one! It was a very detailed dream with characters that had inspired me to write my Riddles Saga. Well, anyway, this dream is kinda like that. It was very interesting because everything was so vivid! (Unlike the blurriness of my Melody dream.) There were werewolves and vampires! (Cliché, I know!) What I found extremely interesting was that Ryan was there! (He was a werewolf.) Then there were evil vampires who locked us all up! (“Us” meaning me, Ryan, and about seven other werewolves. I wasn’t a werewolf … boohoo!) Then I woke up and imagined what would’ve happened next — and thus! A new story is born! : ) I don’t have a titled picked out for it yet, though.

Also, did I ever tell you that I went to Bardstown, Kentucky? I didn’t!? Oh … well, yeah. I went there on … July 14th-15th. Grandma took me to see the Wizard of Oz — the musical. : ) It was outside at the Stephen Foster theater. It was really good! The effects! We also went to the old jail. It’s haunted. : ) I just gave you chills, didn’t I? There once was an eighteen year old girl who was imprisoned there, and tried to escape. So, what she did, was stripped down and lathered herself in lotion. Then she tried to squeeze through the window! Ha! She got stuck, so they called a bunch of people before they just coated her in greese and pulled her back in. Poor girl … wonder what she did? We also went and saw My Old Kentucky Home. It’s a really nice house! Three-stories. We also saw an old village. (Most of the places and things were transported from all over Kentucky.) It was really very fascinating. Uhh … what else did we do? Oh yeah! We went to some war museums. We went to a civil war museum, and an American war museum. It was all very … interesting, I guess you could say.

Okay, switching subjects: Back to school! School starts on the 11th of August for me. Gosh, I’m just so nervous! Tyler’s coming back this year … ugh. We’re also supposed to get another girl! I am so excited about that! I can’t wait to see all the new and old Faces!

Aaron and I have become such good friends I actually went over to his house on … July 16th. It was a lot of fun! We watched Ultraman, Betty Boop, Popeye, and Harry Potter. Aaron also taught me how to shoot a bow and arrow! I’m deadly now! (Cue evil music and laugh …) Maybe I should invite Aaron over to hang out sometime?

Love,

Alison
