When I started writing, it was fun. It was an escape from the world around me.
Now it's starting to feel like a career.
That's probably because that that's what I've turned it into.
I tell people that I'm doing it for the smiles and the money. Monstly the latter. My reason is simple: I'm poor, and my sister is very sick. I need braces. I need cash fast, and writing is something I'm good at and can make money for doing.
People probably think I'm selfish, but is it selfish to know that my family is in need of money and I've found a way to provide it? It's not like I don't enjoy writing either—truth is that I'd marry it if I wasn't already engaged with Ian Somerhalder.
Love,
Aly Cat
